Finn smiled as Kayden talked. “I do my homework everynight. I hope they don’t give us homework on Fridays baby,” Finn giggled, but he really didn’t want homework for the weekend. He was only a freshman after all. “I always have straight A’s baby.” He smield at Kayden. “Yay!! Water!!”
Liv stood there shocked but thought she didn’t let it show. However, Madi did inform her she didn’t hide it like she thought. “Yeah, no worries. I won’t tell anyone. Your secret is safe with me.” She smiled at Madi. Liv was really good at keeping secrets. Nobody in her family even knew about the SA and her pregnancy and abortion. Liv was close with all of her family, but even kept secrets from them.

Kayden just laugh at what he says. One because he was trying to say he is all smart which he is and then also kinda acted like a kid when he said yay water. “calm down big guy or you may fall in accidently or just hurt yourself handsome. Madi smiled. “Thanks I appreciate it. I mean i’m not ashamed of my mom or where I come from but if the school gets wind then they will not trust me or think i just will snitch on everyone and I will be excluded. I just want to be a normal kid you know that gets to have friends and enjoy school activities not get shut out because of the warden.” Madi laughs a little thinking of the nickname she gave her mom and haven’t said it in awhile. She used to always reference her mom as the warden when she was with Leo. “Did something happen to you? She then said she would keep it in mind well getting advice if she needed it and giggled. Liv giggled. “I get it girl. No worries really. Hey, I would never exclude you because of that and I get it.” Then Madi said something that made Liv freeze for a moment. It wasn’t that Liv didn’t want to talk about it. It was just that she never told anyone. Madi said “Did something happen to you? You said earlier you understand or know how I felt. if you don’t want to tell you don’t have to”. Liv took a deep breath before speaking “Yes… Something happened… I was twelve years old about to be thirteen. It was the night before my thirteenth birthday…” She took another deep breath as tears started to form in her eyes. She swallowed them down though. She couldn’t cry over this, two almost three years later. Liv looked around to make sure they were alone and nobody was in ear shot of them.
This wasn’t something that Liv told anyone about. However, since Madi is trusting Liv with such personal info, Liv figured she could return the favor. Part of the reason Liv never told anyone… Well was because of who did it. She didn’t want to send him to jail. She took another deep breath and sighed before continuing “So, my brother is five years older than me, and my sister is four years older than me. My brother had just turned 18 two days before my twelfth birthday. So, he had a lot of friends over for the weekend. His birthday was the Thursday, and mine was the Saturday. This was the Friday night…” She said as she got thrown into the memory as if it just happened yesterday.
“Sorry… Nobody knows all the details about this.” She said as she took a sip of water and a breath. “Well… my brother has these three best friends. They are actually triplets. James, Jackson and Jason…” She shivered as she said the last name. Even though he didn’t act alone. “I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth before going to bed. Well, I guess Jackson and Jason needed to do the same. They had came into the bathroom too… I think James was sleeping. Well, they both talked as we brushed our teeth. I didn’t think anything of it since they were like brothers to me. Next thing I notice Jackson walked out shutting the door behind him. I believe he stayed out there and held the door shut or stood guard.” She said as she slowly felt the tears dripping down her face.

If I’m honest… I had a crush on Jason for a while… Well… anyways back to the story." She said as she double checked to make sure nobody was around.

Then as he held my hands down with one hand he took off my bottoms with the other. Then he pulled down his boxers. I closed my eyes and I tried to scream, but nothing came out my mouth. He then ya know… Put his burrito in my taco. I cried as it happened. I think I passed out actually. I remember crying because it hurt. Then things went dark. I woke up laying on the bathroom floor with the door locked and me being alone. I got up and took a shower. I felt disgusting… Until recently, I actually never told anyone about it. However, you are the first one that I told the details to."
Liv now was crying her eyes out without even realizing it. She took a deep breath. It felt good to finally trust someone with this info. Her ex best friend Evelyn didn’t even know the details about it. She knew about the SA, but she didn’t know any details. Liv just stood there waiting for Madi’s response. She was scared Madi would think differently of her. She didn’t even talk about the getting pregnant form it part and what happened. She figured she would let Madi react to what all she just said before she would continue with the other part.

Madi got comfy on Liv’s bed since this was a serious topic and she wanted to hear everything Liv said. Liv started to explain about how it was close to her birthday and her brother had a birthday right before hers and he had friends over. Then one of the friends locked her in the bathroom and the other guy, did well what he did. Madi felt so bad and she could tell it was something Liv does not talk about or really try to think about even though you can’t forget something like that happening. She had tears fall down her face and shivered at one f the guys names, now Madi felt terrible because her situation is not as bad or sad as Liv’s. She just got closer and hugged Liv and had tears starting to develop in her eyes. She could not imagine holding this in and not telling anyone not even her family or sending the guy to jail. Once Liv was done telling her Madi heard her mom’s ringtone go off, which she gave her mom a specific ringtone if she texted or called which is different than anyone else’s so it is easier to know who it is but Madi ignored her text. Whatever her mom wanted can wait Liv needed her right now and Liv was more important that whatever her mom needed her for. She continued to hug her for a few more minutes “Oh hun I am so sorry you went through that and having to deal with it by yourself. Just know you are stronger than you think and a warrior. I understand to why you may not have told anyone or told the police girl but you also deserve justice as well and to feel safe in your own home when you are home. I appreciate you telling me that even though you didn’t have to and just know I am here for you anytime you need to talk, cry, or if you ever do decide to tell the police I will be right there with you. I know you also got Evelyn for that as well but just know you can count on me to.”

She was silent for what felt like forever, playing with her words in her mind until she found one that would be close to the truth. “for as long as I could remember…my family did really well, financially for a long time…but that recently changed. A family friend backstabbed my father and…” She wasn’t sure when the tears had started to fall from her face, but she did her best to wipe the tears away. Only after a few sniffles, did she continue. “anyways, I made a deal with the [spoiler] bastard, to protect what my family has…” she let out a sigh, as a shiver ran throughout her. She recalled the chilly detail of bagging the jerk to leave her family be. She was grateful he allowed them to flee their home and everything they knew there, but it had cost her her innocence and pride. She felt like throwing up.

Koda and Lexi kept walking to nowhere in particular and she starts to explain her story on how she got into the stuff she was into. As she explained he saw a few tears slip down her face with her trying to wipe them fast so he does not see or anyone but she sniffles. He felt bad that she felt like she had to put herself in danger just to protect her family and have whoever leave them alone. He does admire her though wanting to protect her family. “I’m so sorry you had to do that and that is the only way that the evil people can leave your family alone. I mean I admire you wanting to protect your family and doing anything safe that obviously shows you guys are close and care about them and are loyal, so its a great thing to have just hate that you have to do this in order ot help your family and protect them.”

She couldn’t bring herself to look at him, and kept her attention on the path ahead of them or on the pavement they were walking on… She felt disgusted just recalling the event. How she wished she could forget it like it never happened. The feeling to puke felt more real then just a feeling. She held out a finger as if telling him to wait as she walked over to a bush and proceeded to puke. Once her stomach was emptied out of things to vomit up, she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. “this is disgusting.” she thought to herself as she took a minute to gather herself back up.
After she was ready did she rejoin him. She smiled sheepishly. “I’ve learned that the only people you can really trust, is your immediate family… I wonder if we will come across a mini market or a store where I can buy some toothpaste and mint.”

She felt relieved that she finally let go of a secret. He offered her some gum and she said “yes please.” this would of helped with her puke breath and the taste that still lingered. “but it doesn’t really sound like you can fully trust your family…” this made her sad a little. She didn’t want to pry into his whole family life out of the respect she found herself feeling for him. “I honestly don’t even know what to say right now.”

He got the pack of gum out and handed it to her and she took i and got a piece or to and gave it back. "I always have gum or a mint. After I eat I usually pop in a piece of gum or mint just to have a fresher breath. Plus I guess it is handy in case of these situations where people get sick to there stomach and throw up for whatever reason. In regards to my family it’s more just being on our toes and careful. I mean my parents would never use anything against us or judge us and they would protect us at all costs, so like the love and caring is there, but I guess it is how comfortable how much you want to tell them.
