Maybe because you are using the ‘&’ when walking to a spot?
I always use the ‘@’ for walking to a spot, because when I use the ‘&’ sign’ for walking, the characters tend to slide across the screen.

It can also be that you didn’t specify a time for them to be walking, so they walked to the spot in one second and there isn’t really any time for the animations to be seen. And yeah when you use an & the characters do tend to slide across the screen lol.

How do I stop them from walking in front of them (Tried without the layer commands and it didn’t work.

Okay, so when you put them at the same layer one’s going to be over the other naturally. So you can’t really stop it, one character is always going to be over the other.

I know that in LL it would be:

@CHARACTER walks to spot x y o in zone x and CHARACTER does it while walking_animation_name

Idk if it’d work in INK

You can have them walk at different paces to different spot positions so they don’t end up going over each other at all, but it doesn’t have to do with layering.

Try ‘opacity 0 in 0’

Try ‘opacity 1 in 0’ or in however many seconds you want it to appear

I think you did the “then” wrong, try capitalizing it.

You still put it in wrong! It has to be THEN in all caps. Hopefully this helps!
