Can you wear them overnight?

Man I always avoid swimming when I get my period because I worry about blood going everywhere. I wouldnā€™t bother wearing a tampon if I want to go swimming.

:joy::joy: weā€™d need to alter the logo. I feel like a pencil is an awkward thing to have on a menstrual cup. I wonder if thereā€™s an etiquette

ā€¢Try eating as healthy as possible the week before and during your period. I noticed that my cramps go away if I donā€™t eat anything unhealthy or sweet like chocolate. (Maybe thatā€™s just me :eyes:)
ā€¢ Drinking tea always helps! especially when the tea is still hot :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
ā€¢ Try moving or doing sports, it helps to distract you from your pain
ā€¢ drink water instead of eating unhealthy stuff :eyes::sparkles: or get yourself some healthy alternatives like carrots and apples :hugs:

I was 11 to 13. Between those ages.

Now I have to take birth control for itā€¦

When Iā€™m on my period:

  • I lay in bed all day
  • I have bad mood swings
  • Iā€™m super sensitive
  • Constant cravings
  • I take prescribed pills for my bad cramps
  • I donā€™t drink/eat anything with sugar unless Iā€™m craving it
  • I can cry easily so donā€™t hurt me too muchā€¦
  • I listen to calm music
  • Iā€™m even more lazy
  • Drink cranberry juice (sometimes)
  • I sleep more
  • Drink tea without milk
  • Sleep on my side, or try to
  • Binge watch k-dramas that I havenā€™t finished or episodes I missed
  • Write on episode
  • I gain weight before my period on some parts of my body
  • Watch some TV and/or Netflix
  • Fulfill some cravings

What kind of birth control are you on?

I had to get the matchstick implant removed today and omg, I wasnā€™t even scared when I watched the nurse cut my arm to get the matchstick out. I guess I know whatā€™s it like to be on the implant for over a year.

Youā€™ll have to share your experience if you try the cup thing.

Iā€™ve considered it too.

I used to love chocolate on my period but now my period messes up my digestive system and I canā€™t eat much or I get super bad cramps/nausea. Itā€™s not a fun combo.

So I put a heating pad on my stomach area or take a warm bath and that helps. That and ibuprofen (not acetaminophen or paracetamol), help me get through the first two days. And if itā€™s really bad or the ibuprofen doesnā€™t kick in, Iā€™ll drink a glass of wine. (Yes, I know this is not great, but I do this only occasionally to prevent kidney damage)

I didnā€™t realize how lucky I was because my periods were virtually painless until 25 or soā€¦
