Unpopular opinion: To all the people saying the media is exaggerating it, y’all are ignorant. Hospitals are overwhelmed, understaffed and lacking funds. These people are human beings just like the rest of us, risking their lives everyday to help people who have COVID and other diseases. They could easily say that they don’t want to work and stay home with their families but no they go out to help people, some them as ignorant as Donald Trump.
There are people who come into the hospital needing a ventilator to breathe. Only experienced nurses know how to use it and should I tell you another thing, it’s bloody expensive. Do you want to know how I know? My mother had to get it last year and it wiped us clean. 25 million naira, convert it and tell me that’s not expensive. Think of the people who live on minimum wages.
When you recover from COVID, you don’t recover, you’re just stable and they controlled the spread of the bacteria. COVID destroys your lungs, kidney and liver. It leaves them charred and black, depending on how long you had it. Breathing becomes strenuous and most of the time you have to have someone help you breathe.
So if the media is exaggerating COVID I fully support them, in fact I encourage them to do so, so people know that this disease is deadly as of now.

i respect those so much for risking their lives everyday in the hospital caring for those with covid-19, but i have a suspicion? or question.
every coronavirus death, they receive money. (as what i was told). so, let’s say, an example i’ll use. my aunt’s grandmother died yesterday from “covid-19”. now, yes, she was diagnosed with covid-19 after not listening to social distancing. now, let’s say she DIDN’T die from covid-19, but a heartattack. with what’s going on now, people have been saying any death is now being counted as covid-19. same with the influzena. charts have been high with influzena, but ever since covid-19 was a new virus, the cases have suddenly gone down. i think, i’m not sure.
also, i am really against my governor. i think he changed it, i’m not sure. but, i wad informed that he didn’t want to open churches or other small things, but he wanted to open up other stores. not saying he isn’t against religion or anything, but what brings income towards the state? churches or well known stores? i myself, am religious and trust me when i say, i miss going to church and i believe he changed it, again, i’m not 100% certain but this situation did occur.
Since the elections are over they stopped lying to us and the whole coronavirus situation is actually really bad here. Really bad, especially in my city, so that’s fun :))
