I currently consider myself as panromantic demisexual. Everyone has always been very accepting online, but my parents… they’re not homophobic as such, but they almost refuse to entertain the very idea that I might like people besides males too. They’re always talking about my future boyfriend and husband, and how I’ll have children with him. One day, I said, ‘what if it’s not a boy?’ And they scoffed and went, ‘what? It’s gonna be a boy.’
