Maybe your character could be suspicious of Banu and why she’s working at night and if she’s trying to steal something, since this is happening the night before I can actually use my guard that is currently in a convo, but in a different time and place

Oh no I meant, she would see that the number he gives her is form a cell and not a landline and she would wonder how just a gardener would have enough money to own and manage a cellphone. So she starts being suspicious of him and starts picking up on more of these little things, that and a few minor details would be what makes it obvious.

Also, I was thinking maybe she took interest in part because she thought he could help her get ahead or thought maybe he would slow her down and is figuring which he is. Then she starts getting suspicious of him
