Day 1 of the Selection

While the previous day was momentous for the girls, it was nothing compared to what was to come next. Eventually everyone in the palace went to their respective living quarters to end the night in preparation for the morning when the Selection would officially begin.

10AM - Breakfast - Dining Room

To begin the day, each girl’s maids helped get her ready. Hair done, adorned in brand new hand made dresses, and any accessories the girl desired, each was recommended to dress in a way that expressed themselves, whether it be a simple day dress, or an elegant evening gown fit for a queen.

Once ready, the girls were brought to the grand dining hall. That’s where they found four tables set for breakfast. The first three were parallel to each other, with 6 chairs along either side of each. The fourth table however was perpendicular to the others, with chairs to only one side, facing the other tables. That table was where the queen sat, with princess Rosalie to her right, and prince Kit to her left, and any moment prince Beckett himself would enter to greet the girls for the first time.

Now I read it again it seems obvious I took it more as, we are moving on to the next day and this is some info about how the breakfast will be, lol. About the breakfast though, it sounds complicated to me to have all characters basically in the same room. Just not sure how that’ll work RPing wise, group conversations in general are a for me in RPing.

All the characters are in the same room, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they all have to interact with each other. It’s not a group conversation unless some of you choose to have a group conversation. Like, they can have a conversation with just the person sitting next to them during breakfast. They don’t have to really pay any attention to the other interactions.

Or characters having a conversation before breakfast is fine too. Just keep in mind it would’ve needed to be earlier in the morning.

Then the girls talking to Beckett one at a time are in a separate room. A small sitting room next to the dining room. So those are very specifically a one on one private conversation.

It’s not a group conversation unless some of you choose to have a group conversation. Like, they can have a conversation with just the person sitting next to them during breakfast. They don’t have to really pay any attention to the other interactions.

Like, the only thing is, I wouldn’t recommend a character telling all their deep secrets over breakfast. Just because it wouldn’t be a completely private conversation. It would be easy for someone to overhear.

Fair yes, you’re right about it not having to be a group conversation. It doesn’t feel too natural that way, but it would make it possible to RP it that way.

And yeah, currently all my Selected are in conversations before breakfast time. But I’ll try and move them towards the breakfast slowly except Emberlynn, I’ll just let her have the convo with Banu in the night and then jump to her talk with Beckett whenever it’s her time
