Who knows…
Forcing people to go to bathrooms based on the gender they were assigned at birth makes this kinda thing happen:
People always seem to forget about trans men in this debate. Nuff said.
I think people should be allowed to go to the toilet they want to use. It’s no one’s business what they have in their pants and what they identify as
Yeah.
This.
All my trans friends are male.
Welp. I completely screwed up the paper.
the only persons who screwed up are the ones who make trans people afraid to use the loo
I fixed the paper, by the way.
The lady in the first pic looks like my grandma.
What do you guys think?
Well bathrooms are divided by gender which is a social construct meaning it’s not technically divided by your private parts. So really, anyone who gives that much of a f!ck about what parts another has when they are just releasing bodily fluid is just too serious.
Interesting.
You’re right, this “transgender bathroom debate” shouldn’t even be a debate. Trans people have every right to use the bathroom labeled as the gender they identify as. Any contradictory argument is just transphobic, therefore pure sh!te.
YES.
EXACTLY!!!
OK so this angers me, honestly
I understand why some people may not like trans woman being allowed in the woman’s bathroom. Some people may feel like the woman in question could be a pervert of sorts in disguise. It is a real possibility, after all.
HOWEVER
The world today is dangerous.
there are predators of all ages and genders out there
Denying people access to restrooms because of the possibility one of those sick people may take advantage of it is just cruel. Think about it. Is a guy gonna be able to do much in a room full of woman, should that situation occur? Wtf is he gonna do with so many witnesses? exactly. The argument is weak, and I could put in hundreds of other points, but I’m low key short on time here XD
Even if there weren’t loads of witnesses, I’m sorry but danger is something most afab people are well aware of. We know to be careful. We know to carry pepper spray and remain in populated areas as much as possible. It’s the sad reality of our world. Public bathrooms are no exception to these rules, and denying trans people access to them ain’t gonna make them any safer, sorry lol
@Discussions - What do you guys think about this?
Beautifully worded.
At my last school we had gender neutral toilets and they were DISCUSSING.
No offence but the guys left the toilets really gross so I always went to the main building and used the female.
HOWEVER I feel like building should just have a male l gender neutral l female options at all timws. Then it doesn’t matter too much.
though I wouldn’t mind if a trans would prefer to use the female bathroom either, but with those three it feels like there is at least a place for everyone.
yiss
I would like to not have to announce my assigned gender at birth every time I go to a bathroom pls
Give ppl options!!!
just a point - trans is an adjective, not a verb
