Also, is it bad that while I’m in France now, in the back of my head I’m already thinking about and low key planning my next trip?

But France for sure one day

Both are rad. As European France is a little less interesting to me than Thailand, but they both are amazing countries in their own way.

Crazy to think how 2 days ago I was still in France, but now I’m in Portugal

Okay, I didn’t know where else to post this, but sometimes wrong translations are so funny.
For example, I’m in a bus today, with a sign:
Não fumadores, which means basically no smoking. In English they translated it to: No smokers. So smokers aren’t allowed in the bus, even if they don’t smoke in the bus? :face_with_raised_eyebrow::face_with_monocle:

In a few days I’m gonna be on a 15 hour flight. I haven’t flown in YEARS and when I did fly I had a panic attack. However now I have anti-nausea + anxiety meds to help.

Still nervous about getting motion sick. It mostly affects me in cars if I’m looking down at something or not looking at the road. I’ve never gotten physically ill from that though.

I’ll also be on a boat for four hours… which I’m not excited for either because my motion sickness tends to be worse. But then again, did not have Dramamine (anti-nausea med) the last time I was on a boat.

I think I’m just scared because I’m trapped on these things for a very long time and my greatest fear is getting sick in front of people. At least in a car I know we can pull over. But I’ve never really felt that sick, never even allowed myself to get to that point. I just get so anxious about it I think half of it is purely anxiety.

I’ve heard that people who get motion sick usually don’t have problems on a plane, and I’ve used Dramamine before so I know it works. But I’m probably not gonna be able to do anything but listen to stuff since I don’t wanna risk looking down at something for a long time and getting motion sick. I’m gonna try to sleep if I can, but I’ll be really anxious the whole time… but we’re also gonna be flying in the middle of the night so that should help in terms of sleep.

How did all of this end up going?

And also, I lowkey came to the conclusion I don’t really like most French people. I’ve had people just yell at me for absolutely no reason, they are offended when you ask if they speak English (even if they fluently speak English) or when you tell them you don’t speak French/don’t understand what they are saying. Sure, there are nice French people as well, but they seem to be more the exception than the norm…

Maybe going to Thailand and/or Dubai next year. Location is still undecided but I’m going somewhere. :pinched_fingers::eyes: I’m literally so excited, hoping to go to Thailand.

I’m so excited
I have a summer filled with traveling

First coming up soon, a long weekend London, going to the Harry Potter studio’s once again which is exciting!! And love London, even if I’ve gotten sick there every time I’ve been :sob: This time, I’ll probably look ridiculous, but I’ll wear masks around a lot, even if it’s only for the idea… I’ll do anything that might decrease the chance of me getting sick

Then almost 2 weeks with (mostly) other friends in the north of Italy, just relaxed and chill vibes and mainly there for the quality time. Thoooo, pizza, pasta, gelato, and just a whole lot of culture too with those lake side historic villages

Then arguably the most exciting, travelling around Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. So excited, love the South East Asian culture and food. Can’t wait also to just let go, have my backpack and travel around by myself. Just really feel independence!

And honestly, it’ll be a full circle moment for me, being back in Thailand. It was my first ever solo trip, and it shaped me in so many ways. So it’ll be special for me
