I love Ichigo but he’s just as boring and reactionary as Bella, I’m NGL. If you mean Fairy Tail, that doesn’t have a reaction problem, funnily enough. All the characters in that are wonderfully proactive and strong, it’s why so many people love it, that’s the one piece of good writing in the whole show

Yep a character who just reacts all the time is dull and just not worthy of being tuned in to.
There’s no individuality, no personality or thoughts or anything. They just live to play the life of a robot.
Not to mention Bella’s absolutely shameless desperation to be turned, even though there’s no clearly worthy reason.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a romantic at heart. I get the strength of love and wanting to be together for eternity etc. But hello, YOU ONLY JUST GOT TOGETHER YOU BLITHERING IDIOT!!! And the constant issue with her age… you’re a teenager and you’re going on about aging. You’re not 86, so shut up.
As for love triangles, only time I can find it more acceptable is If its a choice sexuality wise. Like in my episode story I’m writing (slowly at the moment as I’m busy with my other stories 
) but female lead is bisexual, so I will be giving choices for readers to indulge in male love interest or female one… or even spend time alternating between them if they wish.

@liyahsdiamond that’s sad to hear…I love Bleach. I love Fairy tail too though. @ChaoticDeluge I wouldn’t say that Fairy Tail is bland but it can be annoying sometimes.

As a bisexual myself I’m really not a fan of love triangles, like your story seems fine? That’s a good way to make a bisexual character without them needing to say it constantly, there’s the general media thing of showing them just having lots of sex which I’m like. Sure. I’m a sex positive person, that’s not me though so can’t relate xD
Bella just isn’t interesting. I’m still more interested in why teenage girl stuff gets so much hate because Bella isn’t really any worse than a number of anime protagonists I could mention. Honestly, she’s only a little less interesting than Kratos from the original God of War games. He’s the embodiment of boring, reactionary garbage.
They changed that by making him dad of war and giving him like. A personality, pretty cool honestly. Maybe Bella should have become vamp mum-- Oh wait they did that and she got worse

I love the soundtrack, magic effects, a lot of the world building and some of the characters of Fairy Tail, it’s not abysmal by any stretch. And for the first 80 or so episodes I actually found it super enjoyable. After that it just kinda went into white noise for me.
Bleach, on the other hand, is a masterwork in style. It has some of the best character designs and individual power sets of all time, and the fight scenes that come out of the designs and powers live up to it completely. They lose impact when you realise Ichigo is the most bland person ever, though. It’s all kinda surface level, but I mean. I still love it >.<

Yeah a guy from my past is bisexual, but he’s never really been overly sexually driven to both men and women, I get some people are, but not all, so even I get sick of the bisexual character desperately screwing anything that walks.
Hopefully my portrayal will be one that will be more healthily and satisfactorily represented for bisexual people to read, should they want to of course
I don’t watch anime so I have no idea of who they all are lol.
But yeah I’m not a fan of teenage girl stuff. Usually because the girly stereotypes are either so pronounced or you get weak girl characters undeveloped and dull. Like Bella.
I think it had the potential to be a knockout but fell way too flat.
Her as a vampire mom was horrendous. It was so bad, she didn’t even have an ounce of momsyness there st all. It was like watching a young teen on babysitting duties. Rosalie was much more momsy.

The first movie was the best one for Twilight series. Everything else is just too overdramatic and kinda bad.

I agree with on the artwork! It is amazing. I guess Ichigo can come off bland sometimes but I think it’s a possible mixture of the two? I could be wrong though. I just love the voixe actor for the english dubbed because he plays Torian Cadera off Swtor. I agree with on Fairy tail completely. The music is awesome but the humor is cringy sometimes.

Yes. It’s like the kind of book you can read when you just want to have fun without giving your brain too much stress. Just a happy, nice book to return to whenever you want.
Totally agreed. Bella annoyed me to no end. Like, she plays the damsel in Distress all the time. I thought oh it would definitely get better once she became a vampire. But she still was not a strong character. She was just so boring. 
I think the biggest reason I don’t like Twilight is because of the characters.

Honey, what about your mom and dad? What about college? WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF YOUR LIFE? At least wait until you’re a bit older so you know what you want for sure. Like, you literally met that person a month ago?
