Putting this here cuz there seems to be misinformation which I accidentally spread: LI is not 18 as far as ik, MC is 22. Not sure how old the guy is. If someone can find out his age that’ll be great!
I also deleted my other portion cuz I implied that college students are younger honestly where is my brain. Anyway, you can totally read this for being weird tho. The MC says stuff like, “I don’t want to babysit a kid” and “I feel a bit queasy” it’s just weird.
But aside from the weirdness of it all, Episode so far portrays college kinda like highschool. Like you got your typical highschool groups. I wouldn’t know what college is like because I haven’t been but I’m assuming it’s not like that.
Which is why I went with the assumption that the MC was much older because of these factors that I saw in the story. An oversite, I apologize. But there are problems in the story that I see aside from that.
Ever since the first episode, that question’s always been in my mind. Like… if she’s a good agent, then she must be older than I think she is. WHY WOULD THEY EVEN LET HER BE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH LITERALLY A KID
And also episode doesn’t know how to portray colleges… so basically I think that their original idea was highschool just cuz of the way MC uses “kid” and how its a quarterback… then they changed it last minute cuz they know that making it a minor would definitely tip the scales…
Pretty difficult to find any interest when you have to search…and I mean search the whole app to find one story that’s actually realistic and not weird/cliche.
To be honest, I feel like I’m back to the time when all I found in my Wattpad recommendations are unrealistic things like a teenage agent stuff romance
True. It’s honestly a miracle I found a few stories I happen to really like. The shelf is getting more and more turd too, so I basically just try to find through decent authors’ recommendations.
Do you know the rankings are basically based on gem choices now?
And also how it’s fine for a woman to do this but if they turned it around and had a guy agent going after a college girl then everyone would see it as wrong (but not in the case of mafia stories obviously). Ughh I hate them so much.
Yeah they just reuse the same structure- only difference is slightly different plots. Like someone could literaly make a madlibs out of this and the madlibs would turn out exactly like the stories that Episode comes out with.
