You don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. You can never know what goes on in someone else’s life.
Hot take, unpopular opinion, whatever, celebrities are worthless. They’re just regular people that for some reason managed to get elevated higher than most due to a busted system, not because they have more inherent worth than any other person.
And our celebrity-centric society implies that they do. I have an issue with that, and it ain’t jealousy. Don’t get me wrong, nothing against Kylie Jenner personally, I don’t know the woman. But that doesn’t mean that I need to show her respect or something like that. Because I don’t know her

I just feel like if people don’t like someone over money or something they shouldn’t bully them over it.

Yes, but it is simple human decency to not hate on someone for no reason at all that is not relevant to your life. Like, no one is telling you to respect her or any celeb in general. It’s simply like what did she do to you to make you hate her so much, nothing with respect. Do you get my point?

By saying I have an issue with society elevating people like her - people who don’t really contribute to society might I add - above others for seemingly no reason. It’s not her fault, why would I hate her? Like I said, I don’t know her.
And conceding that she’s an amazing mother would be a lot more than respect. No, people are not entitled to respect, that isn’t a human right. No-one is entitled to my respect or even my time.
People who try and harass celebrities are truly scum, it’s true. I’m just saying the world would be a better place without celebrities in general

I don’t bully them, but sometimes I do question why they spent so much money on a certain item. It’s their money though

And I’m a little tired of people saying I should treat celebrities ‘with human decency’ when I already treat them like everyone else anyway? Like, being extra nice because their lives are so hard is counter-intuitive to the idea that they’re just like everyone else. You’re treating them extra nice because you feel they’ve been somehow wronged by society.
This just isn’t the case. I don’t particularly care about people I don’t interact with. It’d be hypocritical if I did, because I don’t break down crying every single time someone in the world dies. So why should I care about a celebrity’s inconvenience of getting hate on Twitter? They probably have a PR rep and don’t even look at their messages and notifications anyway.
