Although with that said there isn’t a vast difference between them so maybe somebody could to a story where vampires are a species of spider which have evolved to take human form

Just flip the cliche plots.
The MC kidnapped a vampire and left the vampire clan and became enemies with the vampire who kidnapped her. Then it turns out that the vampire is not a hybrid or descended from a pureblood vampire, but just an ordinary vampire (you can mislead the readers by giving them false hints) so she became all nice and innocent and everybody hated her.
I know it doesn’t make sense, but you get the idea.

And the MC dies bug it doesn’t matter because everyone hated them so much that they sat beside the bed and drank to all the terrible things that person had done to them (think back to when Katherine in Vampire Diaries is dying)
