  • Ignoring people (deliberately) to look “cool”.

  • Using your “toxic” mental health as an excuse to be manipulative or lazy (this might set off some people but hear me out, one of my friends faked that she was depressed and stuff so that me and the other friend could complete her work for her and after some time, she just magically healed from her “depression” in like 3 days or so).

  • Disobeying your parents or relatives even when they genuinely care about you because you wanna look today’s “trendy” rebel.

I’m not a big fan of people cancelling others. If it’s serious, it’s best to leave it to the law.

Also, uh, doxxing as well? I find it concerning on how many fandoms use doxxing as a way of punishing members. Especially if it’s a minor problem.
One example that comes to mind is the Danganronpa situation. One person forgot to put a spoiler warning, then someone doxxed said person. And in return the fandom started spoiling the game for the doxxer. I’m- it’s just a never ending cycle of idiocy.

Although it does lead to my next point.

It’s stupid and it annoys the hell out of me when people use the excuse “Just stay away from the app then.”
Just put a spoiler warning then? Your big mouth isn’t important enough for someone to avoid an entire social media platform :neutral_face:
Recently, the final season of Attack On Titan came out. But the thing is I already know most of the plot and can easily guess how it ends thanks to certain obnoxious users.

So yeah, normalise spoiler warnings please. :gun::grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

  • Mafia / gang stories… why do so many people like them? I don’t get the appeal.
  • The hype around Among Us. I don’t hate the actual game, but I just can’t get into it. Those few months where everyone was talking about it all the time made me hope the trend would die out soon.

definitely not a case that almost all of these things have happened to me

Well something which is over-hyped but really annoys me is none other than TikTok.

It has become a medium for body-shaming people, being racist, misogynist, misandrist (don’t even get me started where they confuse a feminist for a female supremacist ffs), fetishizing various BIPOC and other ethnic groups, cancel culture, trashing lgbtqia+ groups and so on.
