In primary it was dance and P.E. The two subjects were mandatory and made me so anxious. I finally began to like P.E from year 9 onwards.
In GCSEs, it was Art. Ironic since I loved the subject more than any other. Don’t get me wrong, I still love art but taking it for GCSEs was the worst mistake I made.

Our first teacher was a total prick, he constantly reminded our class that we were failures and told one of our friends he couldn’t draw for sh*t. It was just really demotivating to be in that class room and made my fear of art teachers intensify. In the end, I was too scared to do/try anything and I also had some serious art block. I broke down during the weeks leading up to our exam as it was too stressful. It wasn’t solely my teacher, it was the grading and how pressured I felt. The perfectionism kicked in and I began hating everything I made. After that I didn’t draw for for a long time and art might never be the same to me again.
