And to prevent the kids aging too fast, I just set it to stop aging on my played households (like not the active, but the others) and then turned it back on again when the mama got old

This would have been the better solution

I feel like with Sims 3 you get a pack and it’s just like so totally included
Like I have supernatural and there’s vampires in like Appaloosa Plains

Anyway I’ve been playing sims 3 this past week and my soul has met peace once again

Exacly, it all works very well together which makes the sims 3 so nice…

I’ll have to take your word for that 'cause I never got the Sims 2, I was a toddler when it was popular and by the time I was interested in the Sims, it was Sims 3 that was all the rage—didn’t even learn about Sims 2’s existence until after it was removed from Origin

I was 5 when it came out, like from when I was 7 until I was 12 or so I played it whenever I could

another thing I resent about sims 4 where’s the COLOUR WHEEL. GIVE IT BACK.

Yessss, not the full customiation like sims 3 (laggy af) but the colour wheel would make it so much better!!

Get to work gives more careers but ones that you can actually play which is nice
Get together I don’t really remember what it does but it’s something with clubs and people and interactions

And aliens

they’re both pretty basic but it adds to gameplay
At least for me

I didn’t open my game today for the first time in a few days now because I was at work and then I wanted to sleep but I’m still awake and I’m this close to opening it which would mean no sleep

This is making me want to get this mod! I’ve been wanting werewolves since Vampires game pack came out but it seems they aren’t releasing that one anytime soon.

Also, just curious, what’s everyone’s opinion on the wedding stories. I think I’m not buying it, since I feel like EA messed up with it. The whole situation with it not coming out in Russia since the cover uses a lesbian couple just was nonsense, they made a bit deal out of it while it was not needed. And in a way they now put the blame on the homophobia in Russia for delaying the pack for everyone. To me it just sounds like excuses, they needed more time to fix the pack, so they just used this as an excuse, cause people will be understanding as basically everyone came together to get Russia the pack. But in no way the pack was ready to be sold to anyone the 17th. It just bothers me they aren’t just upfront and say: “look, we are happy to give everyone the pack but it’s broken at the moment so we need some more time to fix it and allow everyone to fully enjoy this pack” instead they blamed the delay on not being ready to publish in Russia. So even if the cas, build/buy and world is gorgeous, and the gameplay could be rad if fixed, I’m not gonna buy it since it just leaves a bad taste tbh.

I have a small problem with what you’re insinuating here. As a person who lived in and experienced life in Russia. I know how homophobic Russia is. No, Russia wouldn’t allow this. As it’s actually ILLEGAL to talk about, much less teach, anything to do with LGBTQ+ to minors. So yeah, it is a very really thing to not allow a game into their country because of it, sad but real. I mean, during the football world cup when Russia hosted it, Russia actually made its first HUGE step away from homophobia when they ‘allowed’ people to have the LGBTQ+ flag.
Now, I’m not saying that I support Russia’s decision, no, not at all. I mean, I still taught kids over there about it, regardless of legalities. No, what I’m talking about is what you said “put the blame on Russian LGBTQ community”, which I don’t think they’d blame them, I think it’d more be a blame on homophobic Russia.
