Cool!
I was also thinking of making Sanctuary, a Pacific Islander. Maybe Hawaiian since I can just google translate that language
That makes a lot of sense!
Dam I forgot about this RP
Think Kai is randomly baking
Have I missed anything interesting
Well, idk what you missed from before I came, but Xander is new and has already freaked out twice once over powers, the second in anger over seeing Korbynâs scars. mostly just introductions nothing major.
Iâm also thinking of creating another character. It will be either be Sanctuary or Bulwark (I mentioned above), depends on which gender we need more of.
Kai is new to the whole x gene stuff.
Not sure what happened after Kai started baking during the x 4 fight
Oh, well, from what I know: Xavier and Jean got injured, X-4 got subdued (somehow), everyone was recovering until Xander showed up and freaked out over his ability, then calmed down, everyone basically talked to each other, until Xander got angry seeing Korbynâs scars from said previous fight, lashed out, scared her and himself, then went to lock himself in the furthest bedroom from everyone he could find.
Is anyone Approachable?
Judas is sitting in a chair by the front door.
Korbyn and Xander are. Although, Xander will probably tell you to go away unless youâre an adult, Charles, Jean, or Erik.
Korbynâs walking down the hallway.
Can Kai approach her?
Sure
The scars are from her mother
Name : Ailana (island) Keone (the homeland) Kaili (a deity)
Age (No younger than 16): 20
Gender : Female
Sexuality : Undecided
Codename: Sanctuary
Mutant Power :
-
Bio-mass regulation ~She could turn herself into a green fertile island full of fruits and vegetables, enough to keep people alive for potentially years (when she gets strong enough at it). (when the food of her island is eaten, her energy is depleted and needs time to regenerate)
-
Environmental regulation/Biodome generation ~ She could regulate any hostile environment she comes across into something more habitable with the creation of a bio-dome. She canât control the weather outside her bio-dome but inside she can adjust it to compensate for the needs of those sheâs protecting.
-
Filtration ~ She can filter any toxic airborne fumes through changing the molecular structure of its composition or she can absorb it into her body and filter it that way (makes her weak and takes time that way but faster than the first way if trapped and filtration is needed immediately), her blood can purify toxic or poisonous liquids (including water from rivers, streams, oceans, etc.)
-
Nature healing~ She can heal others of almost any ailment with the variety of flora and fauna found on her island form.
Allegiance :
Likes : the Pacific Ocean, water, islands (hehe), mainlanders (thinks theyâre interesting), flowers, animals, protecting and providing for her friends or those who need it
Dislikes : bullies, environmental terrorists, big corporations (from what sheâs been told), pollution, racists
Personality : She is a happy, carefree, naive woman. She believes that everyone deserves protection and a place to rest, and has often opened her door to those in need. She is curious, about the world around her and wants to explore it all. She doesnât like when people try to insult her, other minorities, or come after others in her care. She loves to meet new people and make friends.
Bio : She was 5 years old when the âbad menâ came and took over her home islandâs resources for themselves. It was the smallest island of the chain of Hawaiian islands, the âbad menâ felt their activities could go unnoticed as opposed to the larger islands. Her tribe was forced to flee the burning, pillaged remains of her home island and wander the ocean in search of another island that could provide their needs. After many harsh months of scouring the ocean they gave up and resorted to rationing whatever little supplies they had left. Once all the supplies had run out, fear and paranoia overtook her people and they began to accuse each other of hiding food and supplies from the rest of the tribe. During the panic, someone had accused her parents of doing this, everyone agreed that the chief of the tribe would have extras for his family. When her parents denied the accusations, the tribe began to riot against them, and killed them, and she was accidentally thrown overboard in all the confusion. Seeing this, the ones who killed her parents tried to rescue her but all attempts failed. So, they prayed to both Kanaloa, god of the seas, and Kane, Father of all living creatures, to deliver her. Interrupting their prayers, in the height of her distress, the 5-year oldâs mutant gene activated, turning her body into a tiny cocoon for protection as she became an island. Once, the island had finished forming, she was released from the cocoon, but still was connected to the island as it was a part of her. The men having witnessed this transformation and believing her to be a goddess, renamed her Ailana (island) Keone (the homeland) Kaili (a deity) and begged for her forgiveness and vowed to never speak of this to her and raise her as their own. 15 years had passed and throughout those years they had learned about her powers *, raised her, and worshiped her as a goddess, taking care of the island and keeping her as feed as possible. Once they had found a more permanent island she wished them goodbye and decided to go to the mainland and see the world. While looking around in wonder at everything around her she noticed a flyer for Xavierâs school for the gifted and went at once to see this Xavier.
Faceclaim :
Island form:
(I tried to find the real island that Te Fiti was based off of and I couldnât find it.)
(* she didnât remain an island for the entirety those 15 years, it was every few days, then a few days, rest. Sheâs not strong enough for years.)

What do you all think?
Hmmm⌠Looks cool, but I think it all just depends on how comfortable with your rp abilities you are. Sounds pretty complex.
Maybe youâre right
As long as you think you can handle it, though, go ahead!
Maybe you can start out with minor abilities and have them get more complex as you go along?

@Ouijaloveletters
Itâs not the abilities, Iâm worried about. Itâs doing the culture justice, Iâm worried about without being stereotypical or racist.
