Hello, lovely readers,
Howâs everyone doing? Chi-Chi is doing rather well. To recap you guys, She recently struck up a conversation with a charming gentleman , whose dark brown skin caught her eye. Th gentlman seemed a bit shy, leaving Chi-Chi uncertain if he matched her ideal type â not that she could recall exactly what she had specified. All she knew was that she wanted someone enjoyable to be around.
Despite the guyâs initial shyness â well, letâs be honest, he was more than a little flustered â Chi-Chi sensed an intriguing quality about him. She could already picture the fun of teasing and flirting that awaited. Inviting him for drinks, away from prying eyes, he playfully referred to her as âMiss confident,â earning a smile from Chi-Chi. Confidence, especially the bubbly kind, was surely a good thing, right?
Chi-Chi envisioned herself as the down-to-earth and confident âgirl next door,â easy to approach but with a distinct spark. As they strolled toward the bar, a delightful flutter of excitement danced within her. Her first conversation of the day, this was bound to be quite delightful.
Upon entering the bar, which was neither empty nor overly crowded â maybe about four other people, creating a cozy atmosphere â Chi-Chi found a secluded corner. A spot where they could enjoy each otherâs company without the distractions of othersâ conversations. The air carried a warmth that encouraged intimacy, setting the stage for a night of shared secrets and laughter.
âChinyere Smalls,â She introduced, âBut you can call me Chi or Chi-Chi, everyone calls me either.â Chi-chi would have to confess that she had lied, most people in her life, well her family more like either called her by her full name or âNeneâ or âYereâ, Chi-chi loved her full name but she sure did not like the nicknames of âneneâ or âyereâ they just did not fit her and to her they were a little, well Chi-Chi does not want to offend anyone whose nicknames are nene or yere but she would have to say she found those nicknames ugly. Well not that ugly, ok, ugly, but really it was more like Chi and Chi-Chi were obviously the better nicknames. âWhat about you, Mr.Helper, what shall I call you- wait actually let me guess.â Chi-Chi pursued her lips and squinted her eyes as she looked over the guyâs muscular structure and face, wondering what his name could be. There were a lot of possibilities, there was Siah- he looked like a Siah, âSiah? Harris? Hatris? Aiden? You look like an Aiden,â She said, because indeed he looked like his name could start with the letter A. And youâre probably wondering how does a person look like a letter, well Chi-Chi cannot tell you how or try to explain it but it was just ⌠Yeah she canât explain it. âSo was I right? Aiden?â
Chi-Chi leaned back, awaiting confirmation of her guess, but her playful banter was momentarily interrupted by the arrival of the bartender. Aiden, or whoever he may be, opted for water, which she noted with a mental nod. âA strawberry daiquiri, but can you dilute it a bit? If it wonât be too much work,â she requested, flashing the bartender a charming smile before turning back to Aiden, anticipation lingering in the air. She wondered to herself, a little nervously, if she had done a little much and should have just stuck to water like possibly Aiden did. Was it to late to retract her drink order?
