His eyes stayed on hers for a couple of seconds, smiling at her choice of words. He couldn’t really read her, tell what she was hoping to get out of this dare so he took a step forward, carefully watching her reaction. What she said before did make him feel better and not like he was somehow forcing her to do this… even if they were just talking. “I was…” Chuckling, he looked in the direction they came from and shortly shook his head. Maybe his dares weren’t the most innocent ones, he was kissing some girls and talking about cheerleaders so he couldn’t really blame her for being careful. He even expected her to act that way but he didn’t want her to think he was there, with her, just to use her in a way or make that list of cheerleaders he’d slept with longer.
“And you weren’t doing yours. Would you say no to this one if I stayed quiet? You can hurt my feelings, it’s okay,” he joked in an attempt to make her more comfortable being there alone with him but he quickly got more serious again and curiously asked, “Was there anyone else you’d rather be here with?” That was something he was wondering, especially after seeing her with Jordan the other day but maybe it was a way to ask her “Anyone you’d, I don’t know… let kiss you. Or am I allowed to do that too?”
After Sadie
It wasn’t long until he got his next dare but this one actually made him nervous. Probably for the first time that night he looked towards Jessica, meeting her eyes. He wanted to tell her about it, say what he was “hiding” from her, explain why he never said anything… even if he had no idea what he could possibly say to her. “I’ve heard the voicemail,” he simply said, waiting for her reaction. Any kind of reaction actually but her expression didn’t change. She stood up and walked away from them, making him look to the side as he took a deep breath in. He wanted to go after her, finally talk to her about it in a nicer way but he knew if he did that everyone could guess where he was going, Daniel would probably try to stop him. But he hoped he could find her later, at a spot he never really forgot.
So as the game went on, Dorian tried hard not to look in the direction Jessica left and focus on the game. What helped was his next dare. Helped… it was an awful dare but a good distraction. Kissing every guy there wasn’t on his bucket list but points are points and he didn’t want to miss a chance to win them. “And rate them, well okay,” he chuckled as he stood up, looking around at already entertained people. He first went to Daniel with a disgusted expression, just wanting to get it over with, already regretting what he was about to do. That was probably the shortest kiss he ever had and he wasn’t complaining. As soon as he pulled back, Dorian wiped his own lips and rolled his eyes at Daniel’s comment. “You too, Parker. -10/10”
Next he went to the person he knew would be way better than Daniel… or anyone here for that matter. Mikel, of course. And just like Dorian expected, he didn’t disappoint him. There might’ve been some tongue action which Dorian didn’t expect but he also didn’t mind it, it only made him laugh as he pulled back and jokingly fanned himself with his hand. “Woah, 10/10, would recommend.” Another guy that got that rating from Dorian was Riker. Maybe not just for the kiss but the way he acted and joked about it. “Call me later.” “Of course, love,” Dorian winked back at him as he moved on to Theo, his friend that didn’t seem so… happy. He could guess why and without wanting to start any kind of argument with him, knowing it was pretty easy, he simply moved on to the next person. Again and again, until he made sure no one was left without a little kiss from him.
And as he looked around to see if he missed anyone, his gaze landed on Aline and a playful smile immediately appeared on his lips. Her brother wasn’t there so that meant he had to kiss her instead. Not really but who can stop him? “We can say I’m doing this just because your brother isn’t here, not because of what you did earlier,” Dorian whispered in her ear as he bent down, waiting for a couple of seconds before doing what she did to him, but not in that order. He started from her neck, leaving a trail of gentle kisses as he made his way to her lips, his hand resting on her cheek. There was a soft smile on his face as he stopped, their lips just inches away for a moment, before closing that distance. It was a simple, sweet kiss, not the kind they’d usually share.
But his happiness could never last for a long time. As he sat back down and read the question again, he saw something he was always curious about, something he always wanted to know the answer to and after 4 years still didn’t know. It wasn’t his place to ask, not like this but he couldn’t help it. He slowly looked towards Andy, quietly asking, “Why did Jessica leave 4 years ago?” And the way Andy reacted was not what he expected from him. It was a rare moment when Dorian was left speechless. Looking at his cousin, completely disappointed in what he was saying. It was easy for him to say that when he wasn’t the one that lost probably the most important person in his life. “Scr3w you,” was the only thing Dorian could mumble, walking towards his cousin and punching him as his attention was now on Daniel and something he didn’t care to listen to. If Andy even was talking to Daniel… Dorian’s attention was fully on him that he ignored everything happening around him. Not feeling sorry about it for a second. “You don’t know a fcking thing,” Dorian quickly added as he turned around, attempting to walk away not just from him, but everyone there.
