The seconds between her answer and his response felt like forever of worrying that maybe she had somehow offended him by her perhaps too honest response. He gave a light-hearted response, to which Sadie internally exhaled, and gave a short laugh along with his, as Dorian told her he would do the same if it were the other way around. “Yeah, good thing,” She replied, genuinely, not even being able to begin to imagine the number of ‘what-if’ questions would be filling her head if he hadn’t done something, and she, therefore, hadn’t done the dare. “Yeah, of course, it is,” Sadie insisted, her eyes naturally falling to the ground, and her hand rubbing the back of her neck - possibly out of nerves.
His eyebrow raised at her answer, why was that? Out of disbelief? Did she sound too forward? “I- yeah…” Sadie replied, with slight uncertainty, saying it as more of a question than a statement. Dorian gave her the same answer, to which she found her self with the same slight brow raise that he had seconds before. But maybe hers was out of disbelief, still not being able to forget where he had been less than 10 minutes earlier at the campfire, despite his words.
Sadie could feel her heart beating out of her chest when he took the step forward. She nodded, knowing this was what she wanted - otherwise she would have said no initially at the campfire. Soon enough, the two were kissing. As they continued, Sadie slowly stood on her tiptoes and her hands she placed on his shoulders. When a moment passed, and they naturally came to a stop, Sadie took a step back, giving a small laugh and looking away. “I think that makes seven minutes…” She said through a smile.
Arriving at the campfire, Sadie actually remembered the Dare or Drink game that was going on, and saw that she was not the only person having romantic encounters. As she looked around, a pit formed in her stomach as her eyes fell on Emily Dalton. Sadie cursed to herself in her head as she realised she was going to somehow have to tell her, and have to bear whatever she, understandably, threw at her. Though for now, she wanted to delay that conversation and instead took the seat she was at before and just watched the game that was taking place. However, soon her involvement in the game returned as Riker Taylor gave her a dare.
With a laugh at the dare, she turned her head to Jordan Williams, who had also been brought back into the game by Riker.
