Wait, we’re playing truth or dare?
Valerie chuckled “good morning sleepyhead” she said and finished her drink
Dare
“Good good” she mumbled and thought of a dare to give, she didn’t know the girl too well so she didn’t really know what to give her so she just said the first thing that popped to her head “alright, I dare you to pick a guy and sit on his lap for the next 15 minutes” she said

Kara’s ears perked up. She didn’t expect get a dare like this early into the game, but she should’ve expected it.
“Well then.” She said while smirking. She looked around the area and saw Dorian. A pit formed in her stomach.
“Just imagine. Not happening.” After looking around some more, she walked over to Calen while shrugging her shoulders. Before he could respond she just sat down. It was awkward but that was what this game was about.
“Umm…Truth or dare?” She asked while looking at Dorian sideways.

safiyaaaaaaaaa if thats even her real name
The full moon illuminated the early evening sky outside of Safiya’s bedroom window, and the wind blew harshly outside. You could see the trees swaying side to side from her bed, but Safiya wasn’t looking. She was reading on her bed with only the desk light on in the corner, the book in her lap straining her eyesight a bit. Only the melody of the howls kept her company since she had finished getting ready way too early and she didn’t want to be the first one to show up.
This year, she hadn’t made many friends, which was weird because that’s all she used to do. The kids at this school don’t like her. She’s not twisted or complex, or interesting like them. She’s the dumb people pleaser girl that everyone uses for points. She’s trying to fit in, she even does the Blue Royalty thing, but she isn’t good at that either. Safiya likes doing things for the good of the group, she doesn’t like creating drama. Drama is not her friend. Drama is the one person she doesn’t like. She just wants to be well liked, and graceful, and happy. But how could she be well liked if she was the opposite of desirable, I mean look at her, she isn’t pretty like the other girls, she isn’t good at anything. She’s just nice. And don’t get her wrong, she likes being nice, and friendly, and making everybody happy, it’s what she was born to do in her eyes. So she knew what she was doing, and right now, she was not making people happy.
Christmas wasn’t all she cut it out to be either, she hated it. It was still shouting, and hurting. Just, everything that she had expected, which was the worst. And she is never surprised. She can’t make it better. She’d have to meddle, and she doesn’t want to make them hate her more.
If she couldn’t fix her family and being nice got her nowhere though, at least she had sports. Which she put her best effort into, she was an allstar. She won all of her games and the crowds cheered. And, maybe, that would have been enough. But when her tired arm flailed down by her side and she let out a gasp of air, lowering her head because the muscles looked so tired, there was no reason to lift it back up. The court itself was her reason. And when she was there she got faster, stronger, and tougher. Each hit went harder and father, and every time it required less effort to pull it back together and score again. The water running down her back, cooling her skin was her drug.
She did good with everything else, but it just felt- Average. She felt alone. Safiya waved at strangers in the hall, and that had always been enough for her. This was supposed to be different. What happened to the dream? She always settles. Safiya knows her limits much too well. She was too level-headed. That was why this current event was so up her alley.
10:00 pm. Saturday. End of winter break.
She finally arrived at the party. Her windows rolled all the way down, blaring music that came to a halt when she pulled her keys out of the little place under the steering wheel. She got out and closed the door securely, walking up the driveway and letting herself in. She’d been here before, it’s always open. She shut the door and hung up her coat, it was warmer in there.
Safiya quickly saw a group huddled together at the end of the hall. None of them were her friends, but they all got along, so she saw no problem with coming over and joining them in whatever they were doing. She clicked her heels all of the way to the other side.
Safiya loved parties, you could always find her dancing at them, she gets so lit, that was definitely one of the things she was good at. We know it, she knows it, they may all hate eachother but, on the dance floor, we’re best friends. Nobody was a stranger to her there. Ah Candice, her sister!
She saw a tall brunette with an easy to maintain, wavy bi girl bob wearing a cute romper that showed off her legs from behind and just had to say hi to her first. Screw Reina. “Hey I don’t think we’ve met!” She turned around and to Safiya it was like slow motion, her edgy cut mane looked so magical. And not to mention her face- with a body like that- that’s a crime. Her voice got deeper subconsciously when she saw her. “We should change that, I’m Safiya”
Settling in the encounter, she peered into the crowd, “What are y’all doing?” She asked politely, reverting her voice back to it’s regular perky sound. She looked into her eyes, smiling with her lips together to be nice.

Dorian DeLoughrey
Leaning back in the chair and making himself comfortable, from the corner of his eyes Dorian could see someone was approaching him and Mikel but as soon as he realized who it was he looked away, nervously cracking his knuckles. Brandon was a good friend of his, he did like the guy but hearing something he probably shouldn’t have made him almost… uncomfortable around him. Only because he didn’t know how to approach that topic or how to ask him about it. Clearing his throat, he straightened up and forced a smile on that only ended up looking awkward. “Haven’t seen you in a while,” chuckling as he high-fived him, he tried to act as natural as he could which was never a problem for him. Until now. “Enjoying-“ Before he could finished his sentence he felt someone lightly punching his shoulder, making him immediately look up almost annoyed, but seeing who it was he sighed in relief, glad she was there to ‘save’ him from the conversation. Not only her but Calen, followed by Valerie who he didn’t quite… like. Anymore.
“Of course I am!” Answering Tala in a isn’t that obvious way and casually resting his elbow on her thigh since she was sitting next to him, he leaned back quickly glancing at Brandon with a soft smile on before shifting his attention to the game.
Elodie DeLoughrey
Looking around for her friends or anyone who would be able to get her mind off of certain things, she noticed a group of people in the living room playing a game. Truth or dare, it seemed like. If there was nothing she had to hide she would gladly join them. She liked games like that, especially at parties when she had nothing to do, but now was not the perfect time for that. She didn’t want to do anything risky and she certainly didn’t want to talk about things since she wasn’t a good liar. But she was curious, she did wanted to know everything about everyone.
Carefully approaching them and not greeting anyone, she quietly sat down on one of the chairs, looking down at her dress as she tried to adjust it until she heard the dare. And who had to do it. Her eyes immediately met Valerie’s as she realized what was about to happen. Oh no, she whispered to herself, disappointed Valerie decided to go for her considering what happened last time but she was also… flattered. She picked her and it only boosted her, already visible, confidence. Seeing her mouthing sorry didn’t really help, but she managed to smile softly letting her kiss her, not being able to do anything about it.
Dorian DeLoughrey
Rolling his eyes at scene happening in front of him, he looked to the side at the person he had to give his gift to, examining them carefully. From what he knew, nothing happened with the gift and he wanted to make sure it stayed that way. He got zoned out for a moment but hearing something about picking a guy and sitting on his lap made him come back to reality and, not gonna lie, intrigued him until he noticed who had to do it. His eyes soon met Kara’s and he tried to remain as calm as possible while still feeling the guilt of what he’d done to her. Even if he doesn’t act like it or it seems like he doesn’t care, he will always only blame himself, no one else.
A chuckle escaped his lips when he saw her making her way towards Calen and it was entertaining to see how she was trying so hard to avoid his eyes, but he couldn’t blame her. As much as he felt guilty he also actually…didn’t care.
“Dare,” he confidently said keeping his gaze on Kara, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees.

Kara looked up while tapping her heels on the floor, thinking of a dare. She was not good at thinking of them so she had to reach further into her thoughts. It was small, but it might be entertaining. She

“An embarrassing text, huh?” Chuckling to himself, he pulled out his phone opening his text messages. “I’m not sure I have any…” Quietly adding, he stopped for a second trying to think if he accidentally sent something to someone. Or he could just go through their old messages but he wasn’t that mean. Kind of. “I’m sorry.” He read out loud with a serious expression on his face but didn’t say who that message was for. It wasn’t really an embarrassing message, there was nothing weird with apologizing but the events that led to that message were… embarrassing and wrong.
Not looking back at her, he placed his phone down on the table and picked up the drink he got earlier. “Ok Mikel, your turn,” leaning back and taking a sip of that drink, he looked at him waiting for his answer. “Do something you’ve been fantasizing about to someone here,” he bluntly said without thinking much about it right after he picked a dare.

Delilah Rose Hawthorne
TW: Abortion
4th January 2020
Though Delilah could see that Daniel had the same hesitancy to talk to her, she was sure they had completely opposing emotions running through them from it as they both had an entirely different experience and outlook from the situation that happened those weeks ago.
19th December 2019
Daniel publically leaving for his spontaneous trip to… wherever it was, without any acknowledgement of their issue, had left Delilah to assume that she had to deal with her problem on her own. Since she was feeling generous at the time, Delilah had sent an address and a time prior. Though instead of trying to explain or send him more details, Delilah was concealing the entire ordeal with pictures of herself abroad as she did with everything, then she put down her phone to pick up a pen to fill out a form.
Thankfully Delilah didn’t have to stay in the daunting waiting room for too long, as she was soon led into a very long and even more depressing room, half a dozen beds divided by only curtains. She tried not to breathe the disgusting but unidentifiable smell lingering in the air as she occupied one of the many beds. Probably the stench of a lower class than her. A nurse told her to wait for around 5-10 minutes before the process began.
Almost as soon as the nurse left, someone else entered. Delilah sighed and rolled her eyes, leaning forward so she was now sat upright. “I send you that message so you knew I was handling it,” She told him. “Since, you know, you didn’t really seem that bothered about it when you were in a helicopter.” As he began to reply, Delilah looked in the complete opposite direction to where he was. “It’s fine you can go back now,” Delilah snapped, impatiently, holding up her hand to block him out, disregarding and interrupting whatever Daniel was saying and trying to listen to anything but him.
That’s when her attention refocused to a woman on the other side of the curtain next to her, who was in an argument with whoever she was with. “No, I’m not leaving here. I don’t want another baby,” The woman sternly said to the other person. “I already have a child. I don’t want nor need a second one.”
For a moment, Delilah was caught off guard with what was said as she realised they were probably words once said about her and her eyes fell to the ground, the hand that was still raised began to drop.
4th January 2020
Delilah looked at him with somewhat patronizing amusement as Daniel struggled to start a conversation with her. “Please, tell me something I don’t know,” She replied, taking a moment to look around the crowd of partying people before going back to him.

ℂ𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕚𝕔𝕖 ℂ𝕝𝕒𝕣𝕜𝕖:
As Candice took a seat on the couch, a frown encompassed her features when she saw someone walking towards them. Clyde… or whatever that man’s name was. A man she was actively avoiding ever since the confrontation she had with him a month ago. What the hell was he doing here? Though, she knew the answer was likely that he was another senior and this was a party.
“Hey,” Candice stated, nudging Mikel beside her. “Brunette - what’s his deal?” Candice asked the man. Sure, CC could stand up and leave; avoiding the situation altogether. However, she wasn’t going to rearrange her life around this man. In any case, Chris knew what she had told him - to forget that they had slept together… and hopefully he was smart enough to follow that. Turning towards Mikel once again, she pointed at his cup “I’m going to borrow this for just a second,” She stated - snatching the red solo cup out of his hand and drowning what tasted like… scotch? “Scotch? Really?” she asked the man before shrugging and leaning back against the sofa as she watched the game.
Though, Candice became slightly distracted when she heard someone talking behind her; “Hey I don’t think we’ve met!” Turning around, CC met the girl’s eyes and smiled as she continued “We should change that, I’m Safiya.”
“Hey!” Candice stated in a bubbly tone. Perhaps it was the scotch starting to affect her body, though she did feel ever-so lighter than she did before. “Maybe we should change that. Name’s CC,” Candice muttered at her question - her eyes settling on her for a second longer than they should have before scooting over on the couch. “We’re playing Truth or Dare if you’d like to join us. But warning - this bunch have been known to get a girl into trouble,”

“I sent you that message so you knew I was handling it… since, you know, you didn’t really seem that bothered about it when you were in a helicopter”
Daniel watched her, his eyes narrowing at the girl when she said those words. He knew better than anyone that Delilah’s automatic defensive response was rudimentary blame towards others. However, in part, Daniel also knew she was right. He f.cked up. He couldn’t handle the news and he left - he had to. However, if this interaction had told him anything, it was the fact that he couldn’t let Delilah Hawthorne see him cower.
“Are we really doing this now, Delilah? Fine. Maybe I didn’t handle the news the best way when I first heard it - so sue me. But I’m here, 'Lilah, I rushed over here the minute you sent me that cryptic ass text so you wouldn’t have to go through this sh*t alone. So like it or not, Hawthorne, I’m not leaving just yet,” He muttered - knowing that she was no longer listening to him.
Rolling his eyes, Daniel made his way to the chair next to her as her hand dropped; silent as he knew any attempt to talk would be fruitless. Taking his phone out, he rolled his eyes at Instagram, seeing Delilah’s post of her being on the beach currently. “How’s the weather in… Santa Monica?” Daniel asked - pointing his cell in her direction, before turning it back toward himself as he did what he did best; leave annoying comments.
Daniel’s ear perked up, however, when the doctor entered the room - coming towards them both as she begins explaining the process that would happen. However, the statement ended with the coveted words of “I’m sorry; but we have to verify with you before starting the procedure. While this procedure is completely safe, this procedure will effectively terminate the placenta and you will no longer be pregnant. Are you sure you want to continue with this method? If not - we can discuss other options such as putting the child up for adoption or…”
Daniel turned his head towards Delilah as the doctor spoke, taking her hand in his without really giving her an option. “I’m here,” he mumbled - catching her eyes as he did so.
4th January 2020
“Please, tell me something I don’t know,”
Daniel sighed, rolling his eyes ever-so-slightly at Delilah’s response. Same old Delilah - acting as if what happened hadn’t. Well… if she would choose to act like that - he may as well do so to… even if it was the only thing clouding his mind when he saw her. “Oh, you didn’t let me finish, Delilah. You look great; but not as great as Stephanie over there. Oh and Abby looks absolutely amazing in that dress. Oh and have you seen…” he started, pointing at various girls around the room with a slight smile on his face. If anything, he was just trying to bring out Delilah’s competitive nature - some semblance of normal.

Maverick Weston
Winter break, Christmas, like always was a time of mixed feelings for the entirety of the Weston family. There were points of joy, smiling and having fun, particularly as Macy and Maya opened their gifts Christmas morning. Then at times the mood was not so merry and bright. Christmas time had never been quite the same as it was before Maverick’s mother died. It was also a point where stress was much more apparent than at other times of the year, which led to Maverick’s break consisting of many arguments between him and his father. Maverick was on thin ice for the moment at home, but that didn’t change a thing. Maverick continued just as he had been, doing whatever it was that he wanted, which at this point meant heading to the party everyone else would be at. Maverick got there a bit later than most, but that didn’t really bother him. He just grabbed himself a drink and walked over to the group playing truth or dare.
Jezebel Mallory Sloane
Despite the nature of the last day of class before break, Jezebel actually had a great time during break. Although she was still upset and hurt by how things went down with Daniel, Jezebel had Candice and some of the other girls were there making sure she had a good time. Jezebel spent Christmas and then her birthday in Paris, and never wanted the trip to end. Unfortunately, it was only a matter of time before she had to be home, and then go to a party hosted by Calen. Jezebel didn’t have any issue with attending the party, but she knew there would be a chance of seeing Daniel. She had tried contacting him, to no avail. She wanted to fix things, but she didn’t even know if she could. She knew she hurt him, but she was hurt too. They were both trying to join the Blue Royalty, so it was inevitable that they would have to see each other again, but Jezebel wasn’t sure if she could actually face him. Either way, there was no way Jezebel could say no to the party. Walking in, she was immediately drawn to the group that had gathered for truth or dare.

He sat there in the group that was now forming bigger than he had imagined when he suggested a game. He felt unattached to what was going on around him as he sipped from the cup in his hand, cringing slightly as the liquid burned his throat. He got pulled back into reality when his friend was here and talking to him. ”Sitting? Really? I thought you’d do something more fun.” Mikel looked up at him and forced a smile and a fake laugh. “Drinking is very fun.” He replied back to him and raised the cup up high. Especially when you haven’t drank in months. Brandon came over and was high fiving Dorian and sort of acting like he was a frat boy which was utterly annoying to Mikey. Mikel rolled his eyes subtly and brought the liquor back to his lips.
“How about truth or dare?” Mikel sat up from leaning on the back of the couch and pointed at Calan. His mom would’ve yelled at him right away if she were here for the pointing, saying it is “rude” but being rude is the least of his problems. “That is the best idea I have heard all night.” He said and nodded in reassurance that he was in on playing the game. “You’re joining right?” He licked his lips which tasted of the scotch in his cup. “Of course, I am babe.” He said with a bit of a slur in his words as they left from his tongue. He looked over at Candice who had joined in on the fun by announcing it allowed and looking at him. Making eye contact even with him. The gaze was broken by Valerie now kissing Elodie and Mikel setting his cup down on the table in front of him to clap.
More people were doing their own dares and surprisingly no truths had been asked but Mikel was fine with that because truths were too personal. Dorian called onto Mikey to do a dare. “Do something you’ve been fantasizing about to someone here,” “Just one thing?” He mumbled to himself but ran a hand through his hair as he stood up. He stroked his chin as if he was thinking with his hand that was not holding his red cup again, but it wasn’t too hard to come up with something right now for him. Maybe it was the alcohol giving him some courage or he just really didn’t care about embarrassing himself ever. He looked around the group at the few people who he always have thought of as his type or whatever a type is. decisions, decisions. A few strides to the other side of the makeshift circle that was more like a lima bean and he was bean to be eye level with Candice. It didn’t take much time and he had his lips on hers. He thought about kissing a few other people to), but he had been wanting to do this for a while now and here was his chance. It wasn’t a long kiss and came off a bit more aggressive than he hoped for, but the buzz was getting to him since his tolerance was a lot lower than what it once had been. He then sat next to her and she grabbed for the drink in his hand. He leaned back again into the couch, melting into it. He looked around the group and saw his ex. “Selena, truth or dare?” He asked her and took off his glasses to clean off his lenses as he waited for a reply from her.

Reina Katherine Monroe
Reina wasn’t one to party. If anything, parties were something she actively avoided. At parties people get drunk, they do stupid stuff and push boundaries. She wouldn’t drink herself, just because she wouldn’t want to risk things getting out and opening that whole can of worms. Though even then, other people could do things that could put her in a bad spot. However, there were two things that made her agree to go to the party, one being Sadie. The other, she wanted to fit in. If she chose to stay home without a real excuse while the rest of the senior class was off at a party, how could she even hope to fit in. It would be one step closer to being an outcast again. Once you’re the outcast, its an easy slide into being made fun of and having life be a living hell again. Fitting in, even just being seen as average was all Reina wanted. Although reluctantly, Reina stepped into the party. With just a simple water bottle in hand, she turned her attention to the group playing truth or dare. She did not have any intention of joining the game, her plan was just to watch as the party went on.
Tala Garzon
She gave a wide grin when the game started, leaning against the side of the armchair. Maybe coming here wasn’t a bad idea after all, she thought, chortling at the recent and constant dares that were happening. So far, no one chose truth yet, and Tala was urged to change that if ever she was chosen; but she was more urged to make a dare—it was more fun, after all.
It was Dorian’s turn, and the dare given to him was surely something that would entertain everyone; however, only little dismay crossed her and others when he did it. She puckered her lips to one corner, arching her brows at what she expected less. She stared at Dorian for seconds and covered her face as she giggled. Mikel was next, and what he did to complete it only made her raise a brow and narrow her eyes. He just kissed a girl, without any warning, and that’s not just it—it was CC. What more was that it was what he was fantasizing about. Kissing CC, really? she thought, shaking her head and laughing—she was aware that this was only a dare, and getting too serious about it was going to make her a killjoy.
Her eyes quickly shifted to Selena and tilted her head, showing her interest on her; but her eyes caught a familiar face behind her, watching from them from a distance. It was Reina, who looked like she didn’t really have any plans to join them, so she assumed she needed invite her. She looked at Dorian, “Hey, gotta catch a friend first.” she said, gesturing her head to Selena’s direction. “I’ll come back.” Tapping him on his shoulder, she left him and hurried up to Reina.
“Reina!” she called as she got closer to her, “Hey, how’ve you been?” When she arrived to her side, she turned her body so that she faced the circle of seniors. “Let’s join the group there. It’s fun!”

Dorian DeLoughrey
In all honesty, he expected more from Mikel and he would expect more from any person getting that dare. Out of everything he could’ve done he just kissed that girl. It made Dorian chuckle and shake his head in disappointment, but he couldn’t blame him. Candice was a pretty girl, he couldn’t deny that and he certainly wouldn’t say no to something like that. But since the beginning of last year his views on dating and girls changed. Finding out certain things made him realize not everything can be perfect and that he shouldn’t care about anything and live a little.
Feeling a tap on his shoulder, he looked at Tala with slightly confused look on his face, not listening to what she was saying before that. Not that he didn’t want to, he was just a little bit zoned out while looking at a familiar girl standing not so far away from them. “Mhm,” he mumbled to himself, putting on a soft smile right before she left, still confused with where she was going. But it seemed like they both ha similar plans.
Downing the drink he had and setting the empty glass on the table, he got up and fixed his hair before presumptuously walking towards the girl that caught his eye. He didn’t really want anything from her, not at the moment at least, until he sees who she really was and if being around her could somehow benefit him. But he did know a little bit about her thanks to social media. Knowing her name and seeing how attractive she actually was in person was enough to make him approach her. “I know you, right? Mady?” He confidently asked and smiled cheekily, already knowing the answer to that question. “Welcome to Cerulean High and this party, I guess. I’m Dorian,” not giving her time to react to what he first said, he reach his hand out to greet her, subtly analyzing her.
There were a few more truth or dare questions happening but Kara was zoning out and daydreaming. It was not that the party was boring, she just wanted to go get a drink but she had to finish her dare. While waiting, she mindlessly watched what the others were doing.15 minutes were up, so she finally got off of Calen’s lap and maneuvered through the small group that was playing the game so that she could go to the food section. Suddenly, she felt her stomach grumble.
I better get something to eat.
She realized that she didn’t eat for most of the day, but didn’t even notice it.
After getting to the food section, she got a glass of her favorite bitter cranberry juice. She began thinking about how lucky she was that she could relax and not do any tasks for once. Then she began eating some tuna crackers.

Daniel was fast to turn the blame onto her when she brought up the helicopter to which Delilah shut out and interrupted. “You know, an apology would just be a lot easier,” She said quickly, growing impatient with him, though remained disconnected from him, her head still turned the opposite direction. But she knew her comment was pointless, apologies from Daniel were just as rare as ones from her.
Delilah realised she was looking down and shook her head to bring herself back to reality when Daniel asked her how the weather was in Santa Monica. “What?” She replied with somewhat disgust embedded in her confusion. At this point, she really called into question why he was still here. Then it clicked in her mind, that was the location she claimed to be at on her Instagram. “That was not a lie,” She said, ignoring the question and mainly addressing the post itself. “I went there last weekend. And the weather was spectacular,” She added with narrow eyes.
The silence was broken by the crack of the door, revealing the doctor explaining what was happening. Delilah stared at her intently, though was focusing on the poorly done makeup she had on. Is she not aware there are free tutorials literally everywhere? Delilah thought as the doctor was asking whether or not she wanted to put the baby up for adoption - to which she rolled her eyes as she had gone through that choice multiple time. “Yes, I want to continue, now can we get it over and done with?” Delilah replied, exasperatedly.
As she said that, Daniel’s hand fell on hers, and Delilah looked at him. Then after a moment, she took her hand away to fix her hair as the doctor left for a moment. Minutes later, she came back.
“Well that wasn’t so bad,” Delilah commented, nonchalantly, walking ahead of him outside of the clinic. Then she turned back around. “Well, of course, it wasn’t for you, all you had to do was sit on a chair.”
4th January 2020
She raised one eyebrow, expectantly, as Daniel told her that he hadn’t finished. Delilah followed his eyes and looked at the same girls he did, ignoring how some of them looked back confused, and some self-consciously. “Please, Stephanie and Abby have got nothing on me,” Delilah replied, saying their names as if they were dirt - they certainly looked like it, anyway. And she glanced back at Daniel, knowing that he agreed.

Sadie Elizabeth Monroe
The Monroe Christmas was relatively mundane, compared to the extravagant posts on Instagram of her new classmates in exotic locations. It almost seemed as though people wanted to get away from each other as soon as they could. Despite not many Seniors being in town, she still tried to stay in touch with as many people as possible, commenting on posts and quickly responding to the slow replies she received on direct messaging. Hopefully an Instagram post could keep her remembered by everyone.

The Winter Break was concluded by an invite to an invite to Calen Hunter’s party. Though Sadie knew that it was probably an invite to everyone, she was still glad that she had managed to get one. But, following that invite was a text from Blue Royalty sending a link to take away and give points to other people. She sighed anxiously, as Sadie was concerned about missing out people to give points to - but then also taking away points. What if people found out?
Sadie reluctantly chose people she had not interacted with to take away points, hoping that they would not take it personally. And the people she gave them to were people Sadie had spoken to the most since she joined the school. After moments of hesitation, she finally hit send and decided to get ready for the party to distract herself from the guilt she was feeling. She had potentially stopped someone from becoming Blue Royalty.
Unsure of whether or not there was an unspoken dress code for parties, Sadie tried to choose something that (she hoped) balanced casual and formal perfectly, and then her and Reina made their way to the colossal mansion that was the Hunter household, and it sank in that this was the normal for students of Beryl Heights. Sadie reminded herself to never throw a party, as, though her new house was on the greater side, it was still nothing compared to what was in front of her.
When Sadie walked into the house, all she could hear was the sound of conversations washed out by blasting music, and she could see that the current focus in the room was the ongoing game of… what seemed to be Truth or Dare. Though she knew the game to usually be a light-hearted and fun one, she had a feeling that it was not the case this time. So, Sadie decided against participating, in fear of being asked questions such as who she just took away points from.
For a while, she just wandered through the crowd of people aimlessly, until she finally found a quiet place, where someone she recognised was stood. “Hey, Kara,” She said, hoping that their past had been forgotten by her. “Big party, isn’t it?”

Kara heard a pair of shoes walking towards her, but she didn’t look up because she thought they were going to pass her by. Then she heard a girls voice speaking to her.
“Hey, Kara, Big party, isn’t it?”
She looked up and saw someone that looked a bit familiar to her. Did she meet her at a party or at school? She didn’t know, but the girl did know her name.
“Wait, how do you know my name?” Kara asked a bit bluntly. She decided to smile to not look as mean as she just came off.
Maybe I’m more popular than I think. She thought.

It wasn’t long after Jezebel got to the party that the game of truth or dare came to an end. At that point she decided to check out Calen’s place. Who wouldn’t want to take a look around a place that showcased its wealth like that. Plus one could come across anything, especially something that could be of use towards Blue Royalty. Even the most minor of things could become the biggest of advantages. Pausing only to grab a drink, Jezebel began to explore. She had hardly begun looking around when she came across someone from the Paris trip, Zion. They weren’t close or anything, but they had talked some during the trip. “Hey. Are you just wandering around, checking out the place too?” Jezebel would definitely admit the place was quite nice, even if she wasn’t there to admire it. “What do you think of the party so far?”

The truth or dare game seemed like it was ending so Brandon decided that he was going to get another drink. After getting the drink, he started pondering on who he could talk to. He looked around the room and spotted Mikel sitting on the couch, seemingly alone. For some reason, they never clicked despite him trying to talk to him in the past. He clicked with most people he talked to, but he couldn’t break through Mikel’s wall. He was feeling a little looser and giddy from all of the drinks he had so he felt more bold. Before he knew it, he was sitting on the couch next to him.
“How’s the party going for ya? Pretty good?” He asked with a big smile plastered on his face.
