She was glad of such complimetns she was given, especially since it was not her making candy. Bashful, she continued on to her original mission to look for books and even telling him the things she wants to make, like a book about candy making; possibly even a candy book that can be eaten! She goes on to beg for some company, although it seems as if he wasn’t so sure about her request. Her eyes widen, in such a state of confusion, she said to his mumbles, “What?”
In a way her air-headed thought and stood rightfully as she thought of what he said. It was in another languge, she presumed. The room took a silence as both had thoughts in their head. She was in wonder, but it broke silence as he took initiative and replied to her request again, “Uh… sure…? But I am a bit hungry,”
“Whaaa? Hungry? Ohhhh so that’s what you were mumbling about! I mean you can go first, I’m staying here and-” and as she spoke, a loud rumble growled somewhere very crucial, her stomach, “Oh… well… Let’s go to the cafeteria then~~!” She skipped as she walked, maybe even going a little too fast, as she looked back and saw him; thinking that he was slow or didn’t even moved, “Hey! Come now! I’m wondering what’s for breakfast!”

As she calmed down in the hallway, she slight looked behind as she saw a cracked face that realized that something in her came to a realization. A part of her was a little worried for she may have harmed her image and possibly even taking her life, but another part of her felt bliss; she was able to see through that miserable facade. Upon reaching the location, her apologies as she broke its silence gave her a breath of relief. Xiulan remained stoic, staring at her intently as she looks if she could guilt her once more or make sure of who she was and why she should not be treated like that. As they have settled down the room, the casual talk were engaged in, but Himari was too casual for her liking, not even adressing to that as if she was still in denial; Xiulan took a deep breath and looked at her fingernails, “Yes. She was.”
The laundry room was now somewhat busy, the smell of soaps and detergents, the faint fragrance of perfumed products, and the subtle smell of the skin as Himari carefully washed her handkerchief. As she cleaned the handkerchief, Xiulan heard a soft voice as her words tumbled; seeming as if she was finding words as to not offend her. Her attention to her vanity was shifted as her ears peaked to listen to her explanation. Somehow, the emotion was more genuine, despite she was finding words here and there.
Himari looked down upon to her words, becoming more vulnerable and seemed as if she wasn’t picking words from the dictionary. Xiulan, moved by her words, she took a short grasp of a chuckle and looked at her once more, “Call me Xiu.” She looked once more to herself, but looked back at the handkerchief, “You know, white is perceived pristine and neat when it is in the shade of blue. White in the shade of yellow would look creamy and sometimes dirty… I saw some blue powder in the shelf over there. Be a dear and use it, but don’t turn it to dye. I want white, not blue.”
