“Aw, you care about how I feel?” she tried mimicking a cute puppy face to tease him. “I would’ve never guessed that there was something beneath that tough exterior of yours. Looks like I was wrong!” she continued. She wasn’t really known for being sassy or cocky but it looked like she really enjoyed teasing people, especially him.

Shiniqua was a bit offended by his assumption, but it was probably her fault for giving off such an impression. “And do what after storming off? Sit in a corner and sob like an idiot because a stupid bear threatened to kill my fa-” she stopped mid-sentence and took a deep breath. “And please, you ‘comforting’ me is as bad as my me trying to win a running race-” she crossed her arms and looked at him, unaware that she insulted herself. Maybe she was a bit dumb…

“Were you wanting to go talk to her?”

“Not really, she looks like she needs some space.” Shiniqua turned back to look at her. She had a lovely dark complexion, bright eyes, and beautiful long hair. “Anyway, why did you come to talk to me? I’m sure I was not your first choice to approach.”

He huffed, the corners of his mouth twitching momentarily as he held back a frown. “Hmph. You were absolutely not wrong; don’t worry.” By saying that, he was essentially implying that he did not care about her well-being whatsoever. Obviously this was not the case as he is, surprisingly, not as heartless as he makes himself out to be but he would never admit that. At least he did not have to feel bad about teasing her, though, since this was clearly a mutual effort on both ends.
“I don’t know-- I assumed that you would be in a better mood anywhere that I’m not. I might not be good at comforting but I think you’re growing to like me anyway,” he replied smoothly with a raised brow, as if to say that his suspicions were already confirmed. He dropped it, though, and merely snickered for a moment once he realized that she had basically insulted herself. The poor girl revealed her lacking athleticism which, if she were a bit brighter, she would not have wanted to do in a supposed killing game. His quiet laughter died down though as they continued the conversation upon noticing her gaze.
Ryo hummed in thought but ultimately nodded in agreement as he observed the stranger, too. His attention was brought back to Shiniqua, though, due to her sudden questioning. “…In case it wasn’t obvious, I don’t like to link up with people and introduce myself. It’s better to keep my distance from others…” He paused, realizing that technically did not fully answer her question. “Before you ask again, I came to you because I’ve already gotten to know you and it can be fun teasing you to pass time-- that’s all. You’re the only person I’ve bothered to speak to.” Of course, he didn’t truly know her; he only hoped that she didn’t get upset over claiming to know her despite their limited interactions. For him, in comparison to the few other people he knew, she could be the equivalent of a friend already, even if she did not reciprocate those feelings.

@elixr || Shiniqua That makes me feel a bit better, haha, thank you!! Also, I hope I gave you enough to work with-- a bit tired while writing this but didn’t want to wait longer (':

She was glad of such complimetns she was given, especially since it was not her making candy. Bashful, she continued on to her original mission to look for books and even telling him the things she wants to make, like a book about candy making; possibly even a candy book that can be eaten! She goes on to beg for some company, although it seems as if he wasn’t so sure about her request. Her eyes widen, in such a state of confusion, she said to his mumbles, “What?”

In a way her air-headed thought and stood rightfully as she thought of what he said. It was in another languge, she presumed. The room took a silence as both had thoughts in their head. She was in wonder, but it broke silence as he took initiative and replied to her request again, “Uh… sure…? But I am a bit hungry,”

“Whaaa? Hungry? Ohhhh so that’s what you were mumbling about! I mean you can go first, I’m staying here and-” and as she spoke, a loud rumble growled somewhere very crucial, her stomach, “Oh… well… Let’s go to the cafeteria then~~!” She skipped as she walked, maybe even going a little too fast, as she looked back and saw him; thinking that he was slow or didn’t even moved, “Hey! Come now! I’m wondering what’s for breakfast!”

@elixr || Li Wei Sorry for the VERY late reply, we were in the exam week and today is pretty much our last exam. so very very sorry for me being so late T.T

As she calmed down in the hallway, she slight looked behind as she saw a cracked face that realized that something in her came to a realization. A part of her was a little worried for she may have harmed her image and possibly even taking her life, but another part of her felt bliss; she was able to see through that miserable facade. Upon reaching the location, her apologies as she broke its silence gave her a breath of relief. Xiulan remained stoic, staring at her intently as she looks if she could guilt her once more or make sure of who she was and why she should not be treated like that. As they have settled down the room, the casual talk were engaged in, but Himari was too casual for her liking, not even adressing to that as if she was still in denial; Xiulan took a deep breath and looked at her fingernails, “Yes. She was.”

The laundry room was now somewhat busy, the smell of soaps and detergents, the faint fragrance of perfumed products, and the subtle smell of the skin as Himari carefully washed her handkerchief. As she cleaned the handkerchief, Xiulan heard a soft voice as her words tumbled; seeming as if she was finding words as to not offend her. Her attention to her vanity was shifted as her ears peaked to listen to her explanation. Somehow, the emotion was more genuine, despite she was finding words here and there.

Himari looked down upon to her words, becoming more vulnerable and seemed as if she wasn’t picking words from the dictionary. Xiulan, moved by her words, she took a short grasp of a chuckle and looked at her once more, “Call me Xiu.” She looked once more to herself, but looked back at the handkerchief, “You know, white is perceived pristine and neat when it is in the shade of blue. White in the shade of yellow would look creamy and sometimes dirty… I saw some blue powder in the shelf over there. Be a dear and use it, but don’t turn it to dye. I want white, not blue.”

@Daunt || Himari Again, sorry for me being late I was in an exam week and was busy in studying and taking my exam. Today’s my last so I did this as fast as I could :persevere: :persevere: also, when will a new day begin?? :eyes: :eyes:

Crystal could tell that Kousuke was skeptical of her psychic abilities. It was a normal occurrence for her though, every time she would meet new people.

“No, I’ve never predicted something like this would happen. For some reason i only predict certain things in my life.” She shrugged her shoulders. “Although I’ve had gut feelings about coming to this school, and I did dream about a dark school hallway when i was younger, but it looked nothing like this.”

“Well, it could’ve been a coincidence. And do you see those visions in dreams or…?”

“Coincidence? I don’t believe so.” She was slightly offended at the vision being compared to a coincidence. “My visions are sometimes dreams, but sometimes they just start with nothing causing them.” Crystal didn’t like attention on her, so she was glad that the question she asked now put the spotlight on him.

“What do you mean it wasn’t your choice? Did your parents force you to do it?” She asked curiously.

Etsuko went on telling Li Wei about books about making candies, and even an edible one. That was a crazy idea, but not impossible. He would also like to see how an edible candy book would look and taste like! She looked really passionate while talking about this. It seemed like she had heard him mumble to himself. “It’s nothing,” he brushed it off.

“I guess I could do tha-” he was interrupted by her stomach’s grumbling. He smiled and shake his head, before looking back at her. “You were saying?” he teased, looking amused. She started walking too quickly for Li Wei to catch up. “You’re surprisingly fast for someone short!” he jogged towards Etsuko, who was near the huge, wooden door which led out of the library.

They walked in silence until they reached the cafeteria. There were a few people who were sitting and eating and the others, well, doing whatever they were doing. “Well, what do you want to eat?”

@Secreterz ~ Etsuko Watakashi I hope they went well!

Crystal looked offended. It was probably because of his statement. “Well, I do believe that they can be coincidences. You often dream about what you were thinking or some events that already happened.” Kousuke tried explaining.

“And not to accuse you of lying or anything, but precognition just seems… unbelievable.” it sounded like Kousuke was trying to start an argument, but he really didn’t want to fight early in the morning. Or at any time.

There was a huge change in the subject and he was startled by the way she asked him. “Uh, excuse me? Don’t you think this is a bit too personal?” he leaned on the kitchen counter and crossed his arms.

Beginning of the Third Day

Time: 9am
Weather: Cloudy and cool, sunlight sprinkling through-- ground is wet due to the previous night’s rain.
Location: Anywhere that is unlocked.
Event: N/A

The second day trapped inside the h*llhole known as Kibōyama Institute for Radically Adept, or KIRA for short, eventually came to a close. At 10pm, the nightly announcement played on the monitors and through the speakers. The majority of the students made their way to their assigned rooms for the night, now weary that night had fallen. Although a select few still brushed everything off, thinking they were safe in assuming no one would go as far as actual murder, a large handful were anxious.

Regardless of their outlook, there was a small seed of doubt planted within the back of each person’s mind now.

The next day, sunlight poured through the small gaps of the clouds as the weather began to clear up. It had not warmed up too much but it was, at the very least, no longer freezing outside. The students woke up at various times after 7am when the morning announcement echoed throughout the two buildings and the outside area. One thing a lot of the students had in common? The need for food. Slowly, people began to trickle into the cafeteria.

New day! I was unsure at first whether to go ahead and post since it’s a tie but I figured it wouldn’t hurt! Take this as a chance to get to know other characters-- the stronger (or even weaker) the relationships, the more interesting it’ll be as we progress through the story! When we have a murder figured out, I’ll put a poll for how many days more you’d like to wrap up conversations and then start (:

As the shine rises up and as the light barely shined his eyes, her rose up and took a short shower as he reminisces the times he was still connected to the outside world; with his mother and father teaching him recipes and smiling to his achievements. His eyes glosses as he thought about it, completing his normal routine. But as he was about to open the door, he hears an announcement; it must be Monokuma. As he opened the door, he walks in the seemingly long hallway as Monokuma announces the new start of the day.

Arriving to his safe place, he starts off by making and preparing something native to his mother’s side; an awful lot of breakfast pastries. Starting off baking a brasillé, brioche, and chausson au pommes. He turns the stove, whilst the pastries bake, he goes off as he cooks simple eggs; sheepherders breakfast and tamagoyaki. He prepares the rice, if some preffered eating it, cooked some salisbury steak and then makes some light soup as the finishing meal. Waiting for the others, he finished his meals and places them on the servers where the others could see and serve it themselves. Finishing his creation, he took a bit of the pastries and some soup and sits down to eat.

The cool weather and calming lights made the room around her felt cozy. As she rolled around the bed for a more comfortable position, she hears the morning announcements echoing around. She didn’t bother around it much and preffered to take a few minutes to sleep a bit. For a few minutes, she slowly gets up and looks around the room, half-dozed as she she does slow stretches to make her feel more alive.

She stands up as she performs her usual morning ritual, taking herself some time. She takes a calming bath, putting products to beautify her beautiful skin and hair. The real beauty ritual begins, as she lotions and skin care on her skin, puts on make-up, sculpts and tidies her hair, places the hairpeices, puts on her favorite hairpins; this time she wanted gold with some peices of jade and sapphire and a boquet of plum blossoms, and wears her clothes slowly as to not rip the delicate and intricate embroidery and stitching.

As she walked around the hallway, her foot slowly dragging in the floor, she once again admire the decor and building. She arrives to the cafeteria, which in her suprise, she seemed as if she was one of the fewer people who went later on. She quickly brews herself some tea and took the salisbury steak to eat on. She looks around the room as she eats and slowly sip on her tea. With her meal slowly being finished as the bites of serving goes to a few, she brushes her hair as she listens to the others conversing.

She could remember less as to what had happened last night, as her dreams were flustered by nightmares that could be rendered unimaginable to her own persona. She wakes up in a shock as she sees that the morning has commenced. She went back to bed as it seemed as it was too early, but the announcement that was still in continuation to speak was there; echoing in her ears a she attempts to go back to sleep. But to her dissapointment, she goes up away from her warm bed as she goes on to the bathroom to freshen up. She wears her dress, and looks to the mirror and takes an amount of candy to start the day.

She first goes on to the library and grabs a novel, it was something colorful to her relief. Arriving to the cafeteria, there were a few people to talk to, but she decides to just frolic around the room to the servings. She took the sheepherders breakfast, rice and soup and went to the kitchen to have some orange juice to drink, finally sitting down to read the book she was buried on. She slowly eats her meal, anticipating in every chapter as the pages turns around to see what had happened. She goes on to read the book, as she eats her meal; almost unbothered by the others, despite she deep down anticipates someone to at least talk to her.

Shiniqua woke up from her peaceful sleep a little later after Monokuma’s announcement. She showered really quickly and came out in a dark, ankle-length dress which was a bit unlike her. There weren’t many options to choose from, so she had to settle with whatever she had. After she was done putting and her makeup and doing her hair, she exited her dorm and walked to the cafeteria which was a few minutes away from the common room.

Just as she entered the cafeteria, the sweet smell of Chaussons Aux caught her attention. It came from the food servers which was not far from the cafeteria. There were many dishes to choose from; brasillé, brioche, chaussons aux, Salisbury steak, soup, and what not! It was quite the buffet. Shiniqua decided to go with a plate of brasillé and Chausson aux, and a bowl of hot soup.

She looked around to see if there were any vacant seats. Most of them were occupied by the others… except the one beside a long-haired and fair-skinned girl who was having tea and a serving of Salisbury steak. “Mind if I sit here?” she asked. Shiniqua didn’t realise when she had walked towards her.

As she looks over her vanity and slowly eating and sipping the meal she is quite indulged in, a young woman came near her to simply eat breakfast. She looked graceful and beautiful, with her appearance and style striking as elegant and classy to her; like an ethereal woman walking in a beach, as the shine in her light dress make her look like an angel in the morning light. But rather than expressing such amiration to a beautiful young lady, her eyes looked upon to her in the sharpest gaze, to which she replied, “It is of no problem, although…” She puts down the cup of tea as she lets her cool demeanor shine through, “It is of disrespect to not introduce, especially to that of my status. Despite knowing your names, talents, and other lowly informants; one rule of mine is basic introduction. It is for the sake of respect.”

She goes on to finish her meal, as she looked upon the scenery and continued on to admire her vanity; brushing her silky hair as the rivers of its strands flows upon, playing around her dainty fingers as the jewerly in her hands shined and clinked to its touch, and looking in the reflection of herself through the small mirror she usually holds to herself. As time, she slowly gets bored of what she was doing, turning around to her newfound person, clearing her throat, “So what art do you usually do? Is it intricate or simple? Colorful or lack there of?.. Cartoon? I simply must know what is your own artstyle.”

She looks at her with faint curiosity, she wanted to know more about the people she could be with. She wonders of what could be their use to this school and if they were a threat, Xiulan goes on to wonder until her answers and questions are fully satisfied to her own aquired sense of understanding.

“Well, I usually introduce myself whenever I feel comfortable enough around a person,” she said, looking at her dead in the eye. “But, if it’s disrespectful to you, which I don’t know why it is, then I’m Shiniqua.” she gave her a polite small and sat down to eat. They were both eating in silence, which was again a bit unusual of her, as Shiniqua wouldn’t have hesitated to start a conversation with her. But, eating in peace was supposedly nice. With nothing to talk about, she looked around and saw that the school was surprisingly normal. It was just like any other which she wasn’t expecting it to be. She had imagined dark walls, antique furniture, and everything gothy.

Shiniqua turned around as soon as she asked a question. She was a bit dumbfounded because she never mentioned anything about being a digital artist, or even an artist. “I’m sorry? I… don’t think I even said anything about me being an artist.” The people who knew what her Ultimate was was Ryo and… that’s it! Unless he told it to people, which she doubted he did, as he had mentioned earlier that he’s not really social.

As soon as her replies had started to flow in to her era, Xiualn raised an eye to her, in which is by her suprise. She softly chuckles to her own understanding and gave a reassuring face to her, “It’s culture. I am raised, and uptmostly majority, to such respect. Not introducing to someone is deemed as not polite enough to others. I am happy to teach you what my culture is so that you would understand this expectation, even if it this tradition is not by on my own comfort.” She looks at her with a smile and lightly bows to her, “But I am Xiulan Jin.”

A long relaxing silence over breakfast was relaxing to her, yet found herself bored overtime. She continues on to try and do small talk with Shiniqua. But once more, and was expected due to lack of information, shocked her. Xiulan sighs as it seems as if she did not look much unto what had Monokuma gave to them. She breathes in and shakes her head, looking at her e-handbook, “Last night, I took a study and memorized to what is in this tablet. This is more than just a map you know. This has information to all students in campus, and disgustingly a suprise in these informations. Your name, height, weight, gender, bust size, birthday, blood type, likes, dislikes, and ultimate talent. Basic information. Just search for the Report Card. And if you wonder why I asked introductions even if I knew you, like I said, culture and tradition. I certainly do not greet an inanimate picture live, so personal introduction is manatory when offically meeting.”

Shiniqua didn’t expect her to chuckle. She seemed like a… very serious person. But, you shouldn’t judge anyone quickly, right? “Nice to meet you, Xiulan. And well, I’m gonna pass your offer… for now,” she did a small smirk at the end and looked back at her food. She took a bite of the brasillé and it tasted perfect! It wasn’t too sweet or sugary. Whoever made this was very talented.

Once again, Xiulan spoke and this time, she explained how she knew Shiniqua… and everyone else. It almost sounded unbelievable when she said that she memorised everyone’s height, weight, gender and whatnot. “That’s… amazing, I guess? But aren’t some of the basic information a bit personal. I mean, who would want to know someone’s height, weight, or uh… bust size?” She made it sound creepy because it was! “I wonder where they got all those information…” she muttered to herself and shifted her gaze from Xiulan.

“So… you are an Ultimate…?” She had seen people with clothes similar to hers in operas. She guessed that perhaps, she was an opera singer or something equal to that. “You look really pretty, by the way,” she gave her a polite smile.

Of course, as her relief, she had seem to calm a situation she felt would be tense with one wrong move. As both ladies, indulged in their own meal. She saw Shiniqua’s face lit in such amazement. It must be the scrumptious cooking that was given this morning, even she was amazed that someone could make breakfast bright and cheery; despite the situation they have been sheltered from within. As Of course the reminder of silence was ther due to them indulging in the meal and scenery, until Xiulan broke silence to what she had said. A state of disbelief, she had noticed in Shiniqua’s face, in which she had said, “That’s… amazing, I guess? But aren’t some of the basic information a bit personal. I mean, who would want to know someone’s height, weight, or uh… bust size?”

“We’ve been trapped by a stuffed bear, told us to kill, killed one of our peers, and gave us a motive video to start this killing game. Honestly, even this information won’t surprise me anymore. It makes me question this bear, but it also drives lots of mystery. But…” Xiulan thinks as Shinqua continued to wonder, 'Maybe they got this basic information by medical records? This maybe outdated, since I’m pretty much sure I gained weight from my last. Also, we were placed in different rooms. Unconscious. So measurements were made beforhand? All have plausible theories. But then again, what even is this place."

Xiulan, felt her lips and tongue dry in the notion, grabbed her teacup and sipped to relenquish her thirst. She goes on to sipping her tea, until Shiniqua wondered to her talent. Xiulan placed down her teacup and looked at the views of the other students, “Peking Actress, like Beijing Opera. It is such a tedious work: acrobatics, singing, acting, moving gracefully. But it is fun, we have generations and generations of us continuing this artform. Oh how my family tree follow such famous routes of fame and fortune.”

The bliss in Xiulan’s eyes were prominent. As simple as mentioning her pride of her family was just relieving, even to the point of just moving around and performing to what she knows best. But she remained her calm demeanor and gave Shiniqua a wide smile, “Thank you. Being beautiful is a long ritual that must be perfected. From the softness of my fair skin to the silk texture of my own hair. All is a tedious procedure, like slow cooking high quality rice. Speaking of rice, I also noticed you favouring that meal you’re having. There is an Ultimate Chef here, and that is that boy over there,” She points over the timid looking man, silently eating and curling himself as to not notice anybody, “Yes the one with messy hair and chef’s clothing. His name is… Dijon? He’s French… I think… but I guess he’s mixed since I remember him having a Japanese surname. Careful though, he seems like he’s afraid of everybody. I couldn’t go near him since I fear he would die of shock.”

“Well, you are right. Nothing is a surprise anymore. But it is really creepy if those sickos measured us while we were unconscious. Ugh, they touching us to ‘tAkE mEaSuReMeNtS’ while we’re senseless is just downright disgusting!” she shivered at the thought at that. Trying to distract herself from those thoughts, she looked at Xiulan to take a closer look at her. She had long, silky hair which Shiniqua imagined to be really smooth. The dark grey eyes of hers were mesmerising and she couldn’t even imagine how perfect her skin was. The bright red lipstick and the extravagant hairpin and clothes made her look even more beautiful. Shiniqua almost felt insecure. This was not the type of distraction she was looking for.

“That’s an interesting career choice. If you would consider continuing being a Peking Actress after escaping this h-llhole, which I doubt will be anytime soon.” she sighs and looks over at the windows nearby. The sunlight was pouring through them which gave the room a warm vibe. If only this was a normal school. “Anyway, I’m sure it’s fun, but exhausting at the same time. At least you get some kind of exercise. Sitting alone in a room for hours and drawing is unhealthy. But, I try going outdoors every time I draw; good for inspiration too, but it’s not possible here.” she sighed and looked down at the table.

She looked over at the boy Xiulan pointed at. He had cute freckles and messy brunette hair. Even if she hadn’t mentioned it, Shiniqua would’ve figured out that he wasn’t really social or confident. That poor boy looked timid even while eating! “He looks like he should have more confidence. About himself and his food. It’s absolutely delicious! I’ve never eaten anything like this before.” She chuckled at her comment and thought about new topics to talk about. Then, yesterday’s temper-tantrum she threw came to her mind. “So, uh, Xiulan…” she hesitated to ask this. It wasn’t a really pleasant topic to talk about. “…how are you holding up seeing the motive yesterday? Everyone must have been terrified or scared, or at least stressed.”

@Secreterz ~ Xiulan Jin That’s not a problem at all! I actually love to read.

Li Wei woke up to Monokuma’s announcement which was really loud! It was really annoying and impossible to ignore, so he got up anyway. He took his time while showering and came out in black ripped jeans and a cute black & white striped shirt. He secured the watch he had found in one of the drawers on his wrist and opened the door to go outside and start his day. He found himself in a long hallway which led to the common room. While walking to the cafeteria, he noticed other people coming out of their dorms. He reckoned they, too, were woken up by the announcement.

Most of them were going to the cafeteria while some were going… somewhere? He also saw that they started conversing with the others, unlike some who were minding their own business. He saw the food servers and walked towards them. There were a lot of food items to choose from. He went with tamagoyaki, eggs, and a small bowl of steamed rice. He carried them to the common room to eat there. The cafeteria was full and he didn’t want to stand and eat. It would be tiring.

Kousuke didn’t wake up early this time which was surprising. He was usually up at 4 or 5 AM in the morning. He quickly showered and put on some jeans and a plain shirt. He wasn’t hungry, so he didn’t bother going to the cafeteria to get food, but he was a bit thirsty. He went to the kitchen to grab a drink. He looked around for the refrigerator and found it at the back of the kitchen. He walked towards it and opened the fridge to grab a drink. There wasn’t much… A bottle of passionfruit juice, two cans of sweetened coffee and a can of plain soda. He hated sweet drinks and grabbed the only can of plain soda. He wanted to go to Classroom A1 and see what the announcement by the bear was about. He has missed it the day before but was informed by someone.

While heading to the classroom through the cafeteria, he bumped into a chair, again. The sharp edges of the chair scraped Kousuke’s hand and cut his skin. His soda-can popped open and the soda just happened to fall on his wound. “Ah- f–k!” he hissed and looked at his wound. It burned really badly because of the soda. He kept the can on the nearest table and looked around for an infirmary. It was beside the gymnasium, at the end of the room. She sighed and made his way to the infirmary. At reaching, he noticed that it was quite big. It was a typical white infirmary with two beds and all the medical supplies and equipment.

He sat on the bed for a while, observing his wound. It wasn’t really deep, but it hurt a lot. He looked around for a clean cloth and pressed it gently against the wound. After it had stopped bleeding, he went towards the sink and rinsed it with water. He used another clean cloth to clean around the cut. There were anti-biotic creams and ointments lying around on a table. He applied it to his cut and bandaged it. “Sigh. What luck,” he rolled his eyes and took one of the pamphlets which were arranged in a small rack to read. It was about… diabetes? Eh, at least he could pass time doing something.

The shivering thought that the two mentioned were starting to settle in Xiulan’s mind. The thought about it shivered and felt could in her skin. Feeling its temperature, she rubbed her arms with the thought. The nervousness of her face was almost seen, but remained to cover her face with the cup of tea, she sipped and looked down to her cup, “It is a disturbing thought, especially the imagery of people having the audacity to even touch my delicate skin. Only I am allowed to touch and care for my own skin… Anyways, I’ll be getting anoher cup of tea. I’ll be back.”

Standing up from her usual seat, she brewed another tea and grabbed another teacup to serve to. She grabbed the teapot and reacup and went back to the seat, pouring the two cups, giving one to Shiniqua, “Have one. It detoxifies the body and creates harmony from the inside. It’s Huangshan Maofeng. Green tea.” As she looks at her while she waits for her to drink hers, Xiulan gave a small smile as she wondered, “Earlier, I saw you looking at me frequently. Is it because of my hair, my make-up, or is it these hairpins? If so, I’ll be willing to give you some of mine. Such hairpins are not need of mine, whether it be of no use or lack of my interest. Or I could make you one, I am acquaintance with one of these people, and I’m sure I still remember making home-made hairpins. Well, do you accept my offer?”

The proud smile of Xiulan rises as each sip of tea she indulges, listening to the others and Shiniqua’s conversation. She looked at her and with confidence and said to her, “Well… it is an interesting career. But what acting career is considered interesting? Well all, but you know. If we do escape this place we call a home I’ll make sure I go back to doing to the Beijing Opera scene. It is such fun, with all the grace and fluidity you mention. Stressful, but fun. Anyways, if you want good inspirations, try other people. Or maybe even using me as the model. I’m sure if you see me perform with all the flowing costumes, you wil be amazed at the flowing fabrics and dynamic movement. I am such perfection in perfecting the perfect art of Peking acting. But of course, I don’t force… I mean I did not trained hard for 10 years just for no one to adore.”

The few conversations left Xiulan silent for a while, but listened and gave small comments. Like listening to how that boy need confidence, and how Xiulan gave just a small giggle for it. But this cheery atmosphere was broken down, as Shiniqua questioned that of yesterday. With the statement, Xiulan took a moment, froze, and looked blankly at the table. The sips of tea took a pause as her mouth covered the fressing expression, regaining consciousness, she slowly placed down the teacup and looked at Shiniqua, “We… do not talk about yesterday. Let me remind of nothing, especially to what that sicko bear did. It is useless , only spending so much of my given energy.”

The familiar smile of Xiulan was in her face, giving her this calm composure to her. The thought about what happened yesterday was trauma, but she thought of how this could show her weakness and be a victim of her demise.

Shiniqua could see that she was slightly disturbed by her comment. “I- um, I shouldn’t have mentioned that,” she apologised and looked back. “Well, I too can’t believe that they had the audacity,” she scoffed and waited for her to bring the tea. Xiulan poured a cup and offered it to her. Well, she couldn’t refuse it. It would be considered… rude. “Thanks,” she accepted the cup and looked at the tea. “I’ve never actually had tea before, I’m more of a coffee person,” she observed the transparent, light yellow colour of the tea. It looked refreshing. She took a sip of it and it wasn’t really bad. Apparently, Xiulan had noticed Shiniqua stare at her before. It was a bit embarrassing. She really tried to not blush, “It’s just that- you look really beautiful, that’s all! And thanks for your suggestion about the hairpins, but it just doesn’t go with my style… And I wouldn’t want to accidentally pull it off better than you,” she chuckled and took another sip.

“Well, I was already considering you as a muse,” she joked, but it would be pretty interesting to draw her. All the flowy costume, amazing hairstyle, complicated yet elegant pose and the cool effects. Now she was tempted to take out her tablet and stylus and start drawing. It’s not easy getting inspired. Especially if you’ve drawn almost everything." That actually sounds like a good idea! Well, if you don’t mind me drawing you, that is," she shrugged and looked at her for an answer. She made sure to give her a big, charming smile, but looked like a dog before getting his treats. The mood was quickly changed as Xiulan answered her question. She probably shouldn’t have asked that. Shiniqua was sat in silence and didn’t say anything. She didn’t want to accidentally ruin their mood again.

“Uh, anyway, what are… you going to do now? Well, we did finish our breakfast,” she asked. Shiniqua would probably explore the library, which was beside the classrooms. She would read a few books and draw there. The other Ultimates said that it was really huge and cosy which was perfect for her! She did wonder what Xiulan would do. Obviously, she couldn’t assume anything because she didn’t know her that well.

Dorm → Cafeteria || Alone

An unfortunately familiar voice woke Namihei from his slumber for the second day now. Would this announcement play every morning? The presumably prerecorded announcement played at seven a.m. on the dot. At least, according to the clocks around the campus.
He spent a decent amount of time in the bathroom, showering and drying his hair. Despite his bottled up energy, there was no point in rushing outside only to face another day of seclusion from the outside. As he stood in front of the bathroom mirror brushing his wet hair, a towel wrapped around his hips, he felt and heard his stomach grumble. Nami had not realized yet but it was about nine o’clock now, hence the present hunger that was beginning to settle in. Instinctively, his free hand moved to his stomach while he stared at his reflection with a scrunched nose. It grumbled again. “Okay. So maybe there is a reason to rush…”
A few minutes later, he was walking out of his dorm, a shirt only half way over his shoulders. By the time he was outside of the building and on his way to the cafeteria, the shirt was falling down. Now, there was only food on his mind as he jogged to the academic building. He made a beeline for the cafeteria as soon as he pulled the doors open. A moment later, he was down the hall and inside the cafeteria, a plate already in his hands as he looked for something edible.

Approachable

If someone that’s already posted wants me to approach their character just let me know! I can edit this (:

Dorm → Outside Entrance || Alone

Crap, crap, crap…!
Although it really did not matter all that much, Himari was frantically jogging back and forth across the dorm room she now occupied. She had practically slept through Monokuma’s annoying announcement, already somewhat use to it despite it only being the second day. She had a knack for sleeping through alarms and being a heavy sleeper. Being late, though, bothered her immensely. Despite her usual energetic and friendly nature, she often found it difficult to approach people already in a conversation and… well, with it already being about two hours since people began to stir, people were bound to have gotten comfy and started conversing. It was a social anxiety nightmare. Would she even be able to enter the cafeteria? She had no clue how many people were currently in this school.
She ran out, the door to her room carelessly left open a crack as she left. Himari practically flew down the campus’ pathway and, expecting the door to be one where you push it open, ran right into the entrance door. With a loud ‘wack’ she fell back. Her forehead was a bright red.
Groaning, she gave up and took a moment to just lay on the floor as she held her wet forehead with both hands. She assumed some of the excess water that had not dried up had dripped onto her face. “Please… please tell me no one saw that,” she mumbled to herself as a headache surfaced.
After a few minutes of silence, she figured no one saw her run straight into the door. Slowly, she rose to her feet with one hand remaining on her forehead. Before opening the door, she looked down at the opposite hand and noticed a small amount of blood at the edge of her fingertips. “Oh-ho-hooo… That’s not good, huh?” With a bit of nervous laughter, she wiped the blood on her arm with the plan to wash it later as it was not a lot. A few minutes later and she was inside, and speed-walking towards the infirmary straight ahead. She entered with an exaggerated sigh, only to stop halfway at the sight of another person holding a diabetes pamphlet. “Oh! My bad-- didn’t mean t’interrupt your… research? Hope you manage to sort all of that out; I can wait 'til you’re done!” She felt for the doorknob behind her, unsure whether or not she should make eye contact with him or direct her eyes to the floor. She kept a smile on her face, somehow managing to appear awkward and friendly all at once.

@elixr || Kousuke This combo kind of made the most sense to me since he’s in the infirmary-- hope this is good enough for approaching him!

Cafeteria → Storage Room || Alone → With Sara

Just as he had the day before, Ryo was up before Monokuma’s shrill voice announced it was seven a.m. According the the few clocks around the campus, he had been up since 6:15 and was waiting outside of the cafeteria fifteen minutes later. He waited for thirty or so minutes before the cafeteria was finally open to everyone-- he did not plan on risking it all and breaking a rule for a granola bar. However, it was quite boring to wait outside for so long, so he took a handful of the stashed granola bars and jar of peanut butter to take back to his room later.
Once his pockets were full, a jar was in hand, and a granola bar hung outside of his mouth, he began was satisfied enough to leave the cafeteria. He stopped at a point where the hallway split off-- a couple of feet ahead was the exit so that he could get to the dormitory. To the left could take him to the storage room. Despite wanting to take his not-so-secret stash to his room, he felt compelled to check out the storage room first. On day one, him and what’s-her-name were interrupted by a rather… unpleasant surprise before they could fully check it out, especially given it’s size. Then, on day two, he was preoccupied with the motive and talking with someone else.
Ryo ended up deciding on the storage room. He chewed on the granola bar up until the moment he made it to the door. There, he let go of the bar so that the small nub left of it stuck outside of his mouth so that he could open the door with a now-free hand. He was similar to one of those anime girls you would see running around with a piece of toast in her mouth. The only difference was that he is a tall and somewhat intimidating male. At first glance, he didn’t see anyone. He did, however, hear some sort of movement not too far away. Not bothering to finish the granola bar, he asked loudly, “Anyone in here?”

Location: Infirmary

At the corner of his eyes, Kousuke could see a young woman with flowy light-brown and hazel eyes standing near the entrance of the infirmary. She had interrupted his ‘research’ as she called it. “Oh, um, yeah- I’m done with my research.” he rolled his eyes and looked up at her. Her forehead was slightly bleeding, but it looked painful. He stared at it for a while before standing up. He placed the pamphlet back where he found it and turned to exit the room. He took a last glance at her. He wanted to avoid as much interaction as possible, but he felt the urge to help her. He wasn’t really proud of his over-helping nature, but it was just who he was. He couldn’t avoid it or he would feel really guilty.

“I-” he turned towards her, a bit hesitant but mostly guilty. “Do you need help with your, um, wound?” he awkwardly gestured towards her bright red forehead. He really needed to work on his social skills, but, that was not the most important thing to think about right now. “Do you feel dizzy or light-headed?” he asked, trying to hide his concernment. Well, he did worry but didn’t like to show it.

Nurse’s Office || With Kousuke

“Hm?” When she heard him say that he had finished his research, she stopped in the middle of her frantic attempt to open the door. She finally looked at him, only to see his gaze piercing her forehead. A bit thrown off guard, she reached up once again to cover it as she moved away from the door so that he could pass through easily.
Her brows rose in surprise but a somewhat goofy grin appeared after that. “Oh~, that! Well, I guess if you know how to take care of stuff like this, then that’d be nice! … Dizzy? Don’t think so. Light-headed? Mmm… think I’m gettin’ there?” Being out of touch with anything concerning her wellbeing, she was not sure how to describe it. Himari looked around the room in search of a mirror or bandages; she had not been in this room yet so she was unsure as to where everything was. She walked over to a desk against one of the walls, swaying a tad bit every time she took a step-- her fast pace did not help. She turned back around to him with a small, sheepish smile. “Yeaaah, if you’d be able to help me a bit, I’d love that! I can repay you back… somehow, Mr… Doc?” Her hand fell to her side, revealing the mess on her forehead that was a result of her unsteady hand pressing and smearing against the wound.
