“Sorry-” A small sound escaped from Mellona’s lips, followed by a painful thud on the ground, with a body on top of her. The person quickly stood up, though, enough for her not to feel awkward and too guilty of the fall. Wait, why should she even feel guilty? The person was probably blinder than her to not see their path, and was so weak to easily fall with just a little push of her stick.
Mellona waited for a while, making sure that the person was not blocking her way anymore. Tapping the ground to look for her stick, she helped herself up while the person—who seemed to be a man—made an assuming line that would make her lips twitch in cringe. Regaining her stance, she stood straight and started touching the boy, her hands directly reaching her face. Immediately, a clear vision of him formed in her mind. Ah, now I understand.
She pulled her hand back, resting it on her stick. “It is fine,” she replied, “I am the one who should be apologizing. I didn’t see you.”
Samantha shrugged, “I can do the same thing, except with more pointy teeth.” She smirked, “Kill things, I mean. I enjoy the hunt, I am a predator after all. That’s why others like to think of me as a non-human killing machine. That way they don’t have to feel bad about having no empathy for my being born a vampire.” She skipped another stone across the pond. “They’re right of course, and they should fear me but even villains need friends, best friends, and love interests too.” She laughed loudly, “What am I saying? Love is weakness, it leaves you exposed. Maybe they can’t kill my father, but my mother? The love of his life? She could be reduced to dust and leave him all alone in this world. I don’t want that for me. I want someone with whom I’d truly rule the night forever. Someone to share my immortality with…But first high school, ugh.”
Dieter grinned when she bared her teeth. “That’s awesome. I don’t think you’re a monster at all. I mean, everyone needs to eat. You just happen to eat things different from humans.” Dieter laughed when she did at her love comment. “Pfft. Yeah. Why do we have this emotion? No one will love us. We’re freaks.” He sneered, growing angry. @Bluecookies - Samantha
“Right, Sith the amount of people dying, that sounds very hard.” Hanako said. “Wait…zombies are real? Um, woah. That’s kinda freaky. Are they like in the movies?” She asked, wide eyed. “Yeah, ghosts, spirits…dead people. I use the words interchangeably. Is that ok, or is there a difference?” @LunaticLeviTheSecond - Lav
Can I have your picture so I can show Santa what I want for Christmas?
School hallway
The blindfolded wavy headed brunette started touching him, Alec couldn’t say it felt that bad but it was definitely awkward as she touched his hair. The hair he just combed, Alec was really debating whether she should grab her wrist and remove it from his face or he should just let her be. Never mind, there was no need for debating in his head anymore as the girl dropped her hand and rested it on her stick.
“I am the one who should be apologizing. I didn’t see you.”
Dam right she should have apologized, most importantly for touching his face. But he couldn’t say that, of course not after all his father and mother told him to promise to ‘play nice’ and he couldn’t ruin the ‘dashing, charming’- well in his opinion, image he had on for so long “No, no m’lady it is totally fine. No need for apologize, I should have watched my way and maybe the stick of pain wouldn’t have hit me” He said as he tried to stand straight despite the pain in his legs from the stick of terror.
“Yes, I’m very much a catch. Glad you noticed” Quill quite obviously rolled her eyes. “Sure.” She added flatly.
“What made you think I don’t like you blueberry?" Quill tilted her head, "And ouch that really hurt me here” She pointed to where a heart was suppose to be, “Oh, glad you actually have one.” Quill said a little harsher then she wanted it to come out. “But I guess, we could keep that between us if you’re willing to pay me another 5” Quill took a deep breathe, Don’t punch her. Don’t punch her. Quill had to tell herself.
She bent down, reaching into her boot to grab more money, Guess I’ll have to find a new place to keep my money. “I just love how your the one bribing me.” Quill rolled her eyes, “but that gem analogy, wasn’t half bad.” She looked up, giving the girl the money, “I swear, I won’t be the least bit scared to smash your phone if you’re lying about keeping your mouth shut.”
“Yes I understand that … But some people use the words like spirits and ghosts for a wide range of creatures so I just asked to be sure.” I started wrecking my brain to think of an example, and even thought I knew there had to be at least one, I couldn’t think of it so I said “I can’t think of an example of this happening, but I know there is at least one.”
He didn’t note much about her godly parent at first, which Valentina could not say she was upset about. She didn’t like to talk much about herself-the other person was always tons more interesting than her. She preferred to ask the questions-not answer them. She wanted to soak in all of May’s information-especially the romantic bits, but she would get there in time. He chuckled at her excitement. “A few of my colleagues call the world as ‘Underland’, actually.” She tilted her head curiously. “Saying that some girl named Alice mispronounced it, of course, that’s just conversation we keep talking. Rather grim minds, but entertaining nonetheless. But yes, Wonderland. Quite the entertaining place. But I’d say it’s just Britain with ultra technicolor.” Valentina laughed at this, rainbow-colored images of Britain flashing through her head. “Colleagues?” She inquired, wondering who this word could be referring to. “That’s so interesting?” She leaned in, pursing her glossy lips. “Is that what you believe?” She nodded, smiling fondly. “Britain in technicolor. I love that.”
She shrugged, cheeks reddening when May told her he’d expected romance to be her favorite genre. Yeah, her love for those sort of books had definitely come from her dad, there was no denying that. “I guess I am a bit of a cliche, aren’t I?” She asked thoughtfully. It was a rhetorical question-one she did not want him to answer. There were other things to get to. “To me, love seems like a tragedy meant to be.” May spoke elegantly. Valentina was twice as intrigued now-especially since they were finally onto her favorite topic-romance. "Always an ending to get the person, but never the journey of its fall. Moments to be denied of it, taken from it, abused it, and…” Valentina could almost feel the frustration building up-obviously May had had a bad romantic in counter-one that had tarnished his view on love. How horrible. Valentina felt even sadder thinking about it. She wanted to help him-she wanted to find out what had happened. Not only did she feel every bit of heartbreak, she was itching with curiosity. However, she knew May might not trust her with that just yet…she would have to dig and pick at it until the precious information was hers. “Well…I did fancy once, but we don’t dwell to that.”Aha. As she’d suspected. She raised an eyebrow, looking curiously at him. “Why don’t we ‘dwell to that’?” She asked, her tone light and friendly, though her curiosity peeked through, implying she wanted to know. It made sense he would feel such a way about romance if he’d had a bad experience.
May asked her if she had ever fancied anyone. “I’m sure gods like you have feelings, even more so if you’re a god having abilities to thrust a lightning bolt.” Valentina giggled-catching the hint about Zeus. Though she didn’t really agree with Zeus’s methods, she had to admit, he’d had plenty of romantic encounters-probably more than most people. “Yes, I have.” A wistful smile fell across her face. She had loved plenty of times-of course, all of them had ended horribly-in heartbreak for Valentina. Though it seemed the other person never got so hurt. But, to her, the good-the dreamy, whimsical, honeymoon-like part of this love had stuck the most, and was the part she remembered the most-the part she clung to. This wasn’t about her-it was about May. Though she could go on about these times forever…she wanted to hear his stories.

I let out a sigh. “It is when that darkness is only going to be a danger to those I get close to” I explain and looked at her. “I would rather be alone than getting close to people and then make them suffer by my own hands” I explain. “All I do is kill, destroy and suffer. No one should be willing to be close to me because all they are doing is signing an early death wish” I added.
I smiled at her as she suddenly gave me her name. “Dark, at least that’s what I prefer people to call me,” I tell her. The sun was shining down on her, giving her a mischievous and almost playful twinkling in her eyes. @Skyler2
Rolling her eyes at the ‘glad you actually have one’ and was debating whether or not to inflict a curse on her and her future family lineage. What was the worst that could happen after all? It was just a silly curse that when ever her or her future generation walks they would feel extreme pain and blood would gush out from their feet. And anytime they coughed poisonous snakes would fly out of the mouth and bite them and anyone around them, no one except the people around them will die of course. She wanted them to live longer for the curse. Anyways, see it was a simply silly curse that meant no harm. But Kristi wouldn’t do it, yet.
“but that gem analogy, wasn’t half bad.”
“My nna did always say I was good at giving advice” especially on how to inflict pain on their enemies, but that was a topic for another day. Kristi watched Blueberry as she reached into her boots to grab money, oh so that was where she kept her money? Perfect! When she finds out blueberries dorm she can simply go to there and steal anytime she wants. She collected the money blueberry has given to her and was about to make a comment before blueberry said:
“I swear, I won’t be the least bit scared to smash your phone if you’re lying about keeping your mouth shut.”
“Oh, but you should be scared. Or at least of me” Krist gave her an innocent smile.
“My nna did always say I was good at giving advice” Quill tilted her brown up.
“Oh, but you should be scared. Or at least of me” Quill was much unfazed by her comment. “Oh no, your such a scary princess.” She said very flattly. Quill made herself shut up before she said something even more offensive, she didn’t want Aliyah to actually tell anyone about her breakdown. “I meant, you are just a princess right? I mean like, one of the less known ones? Not someone with big shot parents.”
How little did she know. She was a scary ‘princess’ or could be considered one with her father being the whole equivalent of Satan and all that, eh and her inflicting pain and fears on the mind of her ‘friends’ when she was 4. It was her favorite activity to do with them thinking about it know, when they would scream and she would laugh putting her hands together. But her mother, the party popper would normally come to ruin her fun.
“Those were the day” Kristi sigh, accidentally out loud. She looked back at blueberry when the girl asked:
“I meant, you are just a princess right? I mean like, one of the less known ones? Not someone with big shot parents.”
Less known? Well in this place people didn’t seem to know who Ekwensu, the ‘trickster’ evil good at trading god was so probably here but in the southern part of the land she was from, in the ancient kingdom of Nri and some other people did know Ekwensu. So in a way as she is here right know she is not ‘some big shot’
“yes and no” She answered in a deadpan tone. “What about you Blueberry? Who are you parents? Hefty and Smurfette?” Kristi snorted at that.
Cecelia picked up a magazine. She had been in the office for a while. By now, she had missed first period and might miss the second. So much for making a statement. She felt like a clown, and she stared down at her slightly muddy outfit. Her parents were definitely not going to be happy about this, considering this was the best outfit she had, an outfit she just ruined.
Luckily, her ankle turned out be only sprained. She had to wear a big clunky boot for the rest of the day, which meant she couldn’t wear the nice, expensive socks she had planned to wear for the day. The nurse gave her a new one, but it just wasn’t the same. Her nose wasn’t broken either, which was also a relief.
Cecelia wasn’t surprised, when, almost an hour later, the girl who had slammed her face into the locker entered the room, holding a bag and looking ashamed. At first, Cecelia thought she had come here to apologize again, and she felt a small pang of annoyance. “It’s fine,” she assured her when she walked in, anticipating her apologies coming. “It’s all good now. My nose isn’t even bleeding anymore. What’s in the bag?” She walked over, still adjusting to the large boot the nurse had given her. Before looking in the bag, she decided to introduce herself. “Hi! I’m Cecelia, Cecelia Fairer. It was very nice of you to come visit me.” She said, smiling.
“yes and no” the girl answered in a deadpan tone. “Yes and no?” Quill questioned before the girl continued, “What about you Blueberry? Who are you parents? Hefty and Smurfette?” Quill rolled her eyes, “I wouldn’t want to disappoint you.” She bowed in an almost mocking way. “Merely the daughter of a nobleman and his maiden.” Quill let a sliver of a smile cross her face. “Names so unheard of, I doubt you’d recognize either of them.” Quill rose from her bow. “I don’t suppose you know what noble means?” Quill said, letting her smile slide a little further.
“Yes and no?” Quill questioned, “You heard me. Yes and no” Krist smiled, she paused as she though of a bright idea and with a flirtatious smile “if you give me another 5 I will tell you my real name and my parents.” Krist chuckled internally as Quill rolled her eyes at the Hefty and smurfette comment. “I wouldn’t want to disappoint you.” She bowed in an almost mocking way. “Your hair, slightly your face and your attitude has disappointed me so I assure you, you can’t disappoint me anymore that you already have done.” she jokingly reassured her.
“Names so unheard of, I doubt you’d recognize either of them.” She said “Try me blueberry, I don’t supposed it matches with your nickname? Because I remember your reaction when I first called you that.” Kristi winked.
“I don’t suppose you know what noble means?”
“Are you trying to say something Blueberry? Because remember I could always go blabbing my mouth about the break down that happened” she threatened Quill in anger for daring to say what she thinks she meant.
“if you give me another 5 I will tell you my real name and my parents.” Quill paused, “Real name!?” She exclaimed. “As much as I’d love to learn more about you, I can’t blow all my money on you.” Quill could always ask for more money and her dad would probably always say yes but… did she really wanna ask him? “Try me blueberry, I don’t supposed it matches with your nickname? Because I remember your reaction when I first called you that.” The girl winked. “Karion Lylios. Ever heard of him?” Quill smirked with the question.
“Are you trying to say something Blueberry? Because remember I could always go blabbing my mouth about the break down that happened” Well that wouldn’t be very noble of you, considering I payed you and it would be lying. Quill would have said batting her eyelashes if she had believed the girl had any morals. Plus, if she lied about her name why wouldn’t she lie about blabbing about her breakdown? Quill decided she rather not think about it.
Ignoring the anger in her voice. “I assure you I’m not. Wouldn’t want my money to go to waist. And I can’t image you not having the decency to lie Aliyah.” Quill tried, she really did, but she couldn’t help but add that last part.
“Real name!? Kristi stared at her with amusement. “Yes, dear my real name” she said doing air quotes. Quill paused before she said something that made Kristi grimance “As much as I’d love to learn more about you, I can’t blow all my money on you.” That’s a shame “Then a two?” Kristi shrugged.
“Karion Lylios. Ever heard of him?”
There was nobody named Karion Lylios who identified as a man as far as she knew, or probably he was from here. She didn’t quite know most ‘it’ people from here except for some princess and some more. “Hmm, I’m not going to answer that” Kristi said in a fake excited tone. Kristi faced down for some time, seeing if she could get her father to respond and open the ground and take Quill with him leaving her boots for Kristi so she could get all the dime there. No luck, she sighted as she faced Quill who had something to say “I assure you I’m not. Wouldn’t want my money to go to waist. And I can’t image you not having the decency to lie Aliyah.” Ah, yes her mother wouldn’t be happy with this news if she was to here. Her mother was also a trader and she had a set of rules she expected them to follow. 1 is that you can’t go back on your words once given what you desired, and she did promise her mom to play nice for some weeks. Kristi also caught the ‘Aliyah’ in her words, and internally smiled at her bitterness. What a girl. She was so petty, and didn’t also question she lied about her parentage but just her name, but it was understandable names did have powers. “Fine, fine. Yes you did pay and I suppose, I Aliyah” she smirked at calling herself Aliyah “would have to follow my words. It would only be shameful if I didn’t am I right fella?”
“Hmm, I’m not going to answer that” The girl said in a nearly excited tone. Quill smirked, “Yeah sure.”
“Fine, fine. Yes you did pay and I suppose, I Aliyah” the girl smirked as Quill raised her brow again. “would have to follow my words. It would only be shameful if I didn’t am I right fella?” Quill wasn’t sure if she should answer that. “I suppose so. But thats whatever your morals are, not mine.” I could care less Quill nearly added. “It’s not my call if you tell me who you are. Heck I didn’t even tell you.” Quill regret adding the last part, but wouldn’t let that show on her face. Quill smiled, “excuse me, I meant Quill wasn’t my full name.” Quill said, with a sweet sweet smile, of course that was fake, but nonetheless a smile roll across her face.
“It’s not my call if you tell me who you are. Heck I didn’t even tell you.” Kristi raised her brow, so she was lying about her parentage? no wonder she had never heard of Karion Lylios. She took out her phone and searched the name up, nothing came up. She then went to camera and took a picture of herself winking before she put her phone back in her pocket.
“excuse me, I meant Quill wasn’t my full name.” Quill said, with a sweet smile. Kristi chuckled, "Sure, sure and I am supposed to believe that? " Krist shrugged “Can’t blame you I did lie about my parentage too” Kristi said as if it was nothing. Kristi did know she was exposing her secrets, but she was tired and it was fun exposing them so why the hell not?
After a few taps, Jakob was already growing very impatient. Though he had really only been waiting for a couple seconds, he began to rap louder and faster, leaning even closer to the glass, looking for César. Finally, a figure came into view-light haired, with a towel wrapped around his waist-even from several yards away, Jakob could tell who it was. As the figure paced closer, César’s features became clearer-his striking, innocent blue eyes, his lips moving as he muttered. Jakob only smiled, shrugging and mouthing the words-“surprise!” Though he actually did say this out loud, César could not hear him. He floated away from the window a tad as César opened it slightly-not enough to let Jakob inside. The weather was nice, though it couldn’t compare to Neverland. Jakob supposed he could linger outside a bit longer. “You really couldn’t come in through the door?” César asked, sounding exasperated. His sky-blue gaze was on Jakob, who had to look down in order to see him. Though Jakob’s focus was not on César’s tone, or even the fact that César’s stony gaze was not purely of disgust. His focus, instead, was on the figure below him-wrapped in only a towel, he was seeing a lot more of César than he had…ever.
Though his hair and face appeared to be completely dry, it was obvious he had gotten in the tub after all. Water droplets clung to his body which was…not bad to look at in the very least. Jakob clicked his tongue as he turned his attention back to César’s face (which was by no means bad to look at either), not caring that it was obvious he had been checking the guy out. “You know, I think I like this look better than the uniform.” He flirted, and though he met César’s eyes whilst saying this, his own couldn’t help but flick back down to his chest a few times. “Doors are boring.” Jakob shrugged, answering César’s question. “Windows are much more fun, am I right?” He grinned impishly at César, wondering if he would be allowed inside, or if the window would be slammed in his face.
orp ✧ @edelgard >:) i vindicate as well!! sorry this took so long also, i didn’t describe César’s figure too much since i didn’t wanna get body type wrong or anything!
