Oof. I’m sorry but I’m just tired of people using these terms. The “Type” chart is just ridiculous and changes way too much. It’s just better to use terms like: Straight, Wavy, Coarse, Curly, Coily, and Kinky.

Idk what my hair texture is and idk much about hair so I just used the term ‘types’ because idk how to describe my hair texture and I thought it was accurate enough.

You said it was either 3 or 4? Yours is most likely just Coily like mine. If you need help finding out what it is, I do have a thread explaining the differences for Coily and Kinky! (Type 3 and 4 hair)

Ayeeeeeee I use to wear weave a while ago like twice back in junior high but I didn’t really enjoy it because it was so hot, and when I was younger for my grandpa’s funeral my mom tried to straighten my hair for it and my hair was madddddddddd like my hair was never the same sadly. So now I just stick to my natural hair! Which I love very much and should probably go wash now tho 
But yes also I’m working again to have free formed locs.

I swear I never leave the house without one! I honestly should buy some more or at least make some now. And I have this super cute headband still in my mind it’s like a row of pearls it’s so classy and duiddbdkdjdjdjdb love man…love.

I love natural hair tbh. Here in the Netherlands unfortunately you barely see people with natural hair, the people I know who have it prefer to not have it in the natural way. There is one girl in university who looks really cool, she’s ‘white’ and has a natural blonde afro.
Oh, and added an opinion tag since we talk about how we feel about something.

Natural hair is so pretty, I personally like my hair cause is really soft and usually smells good
different hair types are also really pretty too, like textured hair is so interesting in it’s own natural state that it makes me wonder why it gets styled into really tight twists! Twists are pretty but they look like it hurts the person’s head.

I actually got my hair done into braids again last week. I think I understand my mom would rather have me wear protective styles. I find em pretty!

I don’t use any products in my hair (well besides shampoo and conditioner). I’ll wash it 2-3 times a week quickly and then comb it. It’s short like my episode character.
