Haven’t you heard of that group of trans people who think it’s offensive being called biologically what they are? And haven’t you heard about allies who defend the trans community by being offended at, for example, someone saying “trans women are biologically male” and try to disagree?
You’d be surprised by the amount of people who do get offended, therefore the statement “sex is real” will offend them.
Are you referring to trans men who menstruate, therefore she is calling trans men women? If that’s the case, then I find that obviously offensive. Deliberately calling a trans person the opposite of what they identify as is offensive and clearly uncalled for, there is science behind gender dysphoria which validates all trans people.

As I’ve stated, I did not know about her other tweets, therefore I thought she only made the ones I posted. Looking back at it, the way she tweeted those after making offensive comments is obviously a sneaky way of trying to defend herself after being clearly transphobic in regards to the menstruation situation.
Of course there are people who get offended by that! There are black people who get offended when people say race is real, too! Does that mean that we should defend people who say racist things and then use “race is real” as a cover for their racism?

I should have done some research before, because the tweets I saw didn’t seem necessarily offensive and when I looked at this topic I didn’t understand why everyone was so angry. Now I do, and I see that her earlier tweets is what angered people.

But what has she done in specific? I know she calls out problematic trans people but I don’t really know what else she’s done. Also I’m pretty sure she supports Trump, which has always confused me considering the fact that she is trans.

No, but there are people who use the trans community as a shield and that is what these two people do. Obviously I won’t be misgendering them but they don’t really deserve respect if they use being trans as a way to get let off easier. I mean, a trans person was a convicted child molestor and sex offender, and they were let go and they now hang out with kids and do talks with them. I mean…?

How do you know that? How do you know that they only call themselves trans in order to get more sympathy? Affirming a trans person isn’t about respecting them. It’s about showing all trans people that you aren’t just playing some game. That you do understand that their gender identity is real. If you are a trans ally and you understand that trans women are women, then you know that you can’t just take their gender away because you decide that you don’t want to respect them anymore.
I don’t have any respect for R-Kelly. That doesn’t mean I’m gonna start calling him “she”
