Hey hey 
You guys havenāt heard from me in a little while. I just wanted to update why it is
Iām doing good, amazing even. Iāve been working a lot on myself and stuff, and slowly but steadily I just started to realise that I no longer actually want to be here anymore and just especially donāt feel the RPing anymore and it just doesnāt fit in my life anymoreā¦
So yeah Iāll no longer be RPing, and donāt expect me to really be here anymore
Thanks though for the fun RP interactions Iāve had and especially thanks to those who have shown me genuine friendship over the time. I appreciate you guys

HAHA already took my Java course, it was rough because I kept reverting to python. Iām taking data structures which is also Java, it gets easy at a certain point dw. Currently about to add Matlab and C++ to my stack.

You know, itās kind of hard to ask the owner of the RP for permission when they have shown no interest in the RP. Have ignored questions, and just plan out shown no interest. At least that is my point of view since joining the RP that they originally hosted.
I am just stating this from my perspective.

Like from my perspective, if someone took over bridgerton RP without at least asking me
Iād be upset
and honestly more upset in this case when the entire idea of the rp was a new creation and not a concept taken from real likfe

Yeah, itās still their idea. I agree with Cati. And itās still an active RP, that if they start this new one, it WILL take away from their interest and activity from the main one even if no one is wanting or trying to will go down.
In this community, we generally ask the original creator if they are still around. If not, then we just credit them to show respect. Take Kate, for example, who has recently posted an idea Madi once did, but asked her first, despite it being years since the RP was around. If Madi wasnāt active or around, then it may be a different story.
In saying this, @Kbail, I recommend that you recommend you read the conversation from this post downwards and then PM the two ownerss of Beverly Shores to ask their thoughts. Maybe it might even mean not doing your spin-off idea until the current RP is inactive. Or maybe giving the RP idea to them. I donāt know, but please be mindful of the original owners.

Iām sorry but if theyāve repeatedly ignored their name being tagged, and just all together not respond, you still want us as the player to just wait around until itās dead AND ask for permission to do a spin off ? Iām all for respect but only when itās due. They have not responded, they have not interacted nor have they said anything in the RP chat.
Besides roleplaying is free creativity.

Iām assuming youāre talking about this particular situation, yes?
If you are, and they were tagged in their own chat RP to ask then my answer is yes. Cause that RP chat is HUGE and when life is busy and youāre not very active on here, the last thing you want is to answer every tagged message in the chat.
I PM would have been much more respectful and effective to get your answer. If they still donāt answer then, then yes it is rude. However, it is still how it is done here, and that RP is active and THEIRS. We have a TWO MONTH wait time here AFTER an RP or SG has been inactive before another can claim the ideaā¦ unless the OG creators say it is okay to take it before this time.
Iām sorry, but this is just how it is done.

Movies do it to each other, books as well, even stores. Example; herry potter is like Star Wars. McDonaldās and burger king.
Story line changes, people changes. Nothing really is original now a days. 
Iām sure in all of those cases they were given permission to use the ideas and gave credit where it was due
