The woman than lended me her jacket sat next to me, asking what I was watching. “I don’t know exactly. Punky…Brewster…? Something about a little girl taken in by a photographer after her parents abandoned her…” I trailed off awkwardly. “Hey, I have your jacket.”

“Punky…Brewster?” Ajee laughed at the absurdity of the shows name. “That sounds…interesting. I used to watch I dream of Jeannie when I was younger so I’m not used to these kind of kids shows.”

“Oh, I remember now. I knew that I was forgetting something. I’ll get it later. I’m just glad I helped.” She said.

“Well, that’s great.” I smiled even though I was still a little concerned. "So, how did you hear about this place? " I asked curiously. "I haven’t really gotten the chance to get to know anyone because of all of the chaos happening.

“Yep, its certainly interesting alright, but its not really my speed. I don’t know how much longer I can be here.” I shrugged my shoulders “Oh, yes my powers.” Slowly sipping my tea, I started to explain. “I can… turn into a owl. I might be small but I’ve done damage before. What about you?”

I’ve never seen anyone shapeshift, except for my own self while looking in the mirror. “Can you still speak like a human in that form? I can’t.” I focused closely on turning into an owl and I finally did. I flew around the room., but ended up flying into the tv and knocking it down.
“Oh no! I’m so rusty, I haven’t done this in a long time!” but all Korbyn could hear were owl noises.

I turned back into my original form after falling down. “Yeah I’m okay.” My back kind of hurt so I stretched and cracked it. "Well, that was embarrassing.

Inna entered the room, patting herself on the back for that well-timed dramatic enterance. “My father was an electrician.” She explained. “Shouldn’t be too hard for me to fix it with what he taught me. And then we all can watch some Jem.”

“You ask for help.” A voice said, Inna entering the room saying she could fix the tv. “Oh thank god…thank you so much.” I said, relieved. “Jen is another tv show?”

Someone entered the room after they heard the tv crash, and I, of course, was even more embarrassed. “Yeah, we can use some help. I crashed it by accident.” She then mentioned the show Jem, which I watch occasionally. “Well it sounds like you have good taste.”

Inna giggled at Korbyn’s mispronounciation. “It’s called Jem. It’s about a rockstar.” She was glad that the other girl had heard of it, at least. Kneeling down, she flipped the television over and unscrewed the panel on the back covering the sensitive, tender wires. “So you… crashed into it? What were you doing, dancing along to a theme song?” Inna asked out of past expierience.
“Erm, no. I was actually trying to fly in owl form and…let’s just say that I’m a little rusty at it.” I chuckled nervously while scratching my arm. I never thought I could be so immature.
