Jezebel Mallory Parker

In a matter of moments, Jezebel lost the person who, for the longest time, meant more to her than everyone else in the world. Even over two years of barely speaking, he was still one of the most important people in the world to her. She never stopped loving Jordan, and she knew she never would. There were so many choices she wished she had made differently. There was that part of her that always wished that she had told him she was pregnant back then, as soon as she found out. If she had, then maybe they’d still be together, maybe even with a nearly two year old child, their child. They had talked so many times about the future, how Jordan wanted a family, even the possibility of their own together one day. There was that part of Jezebel that wished that, that future was still possible for them. That even with everything, there could still be everything she wanted. Her and Jordan, together until the end, with kids who they would give all the love in the world. She knew how important having a family was to him, and thats part of why she didn’t tell him, so he wouldn’t know he would have had a kid, but she lost it, because she couldn’t take care of herself. She should have just told him when she found out in the first place, but she didn’t want him to give up the opportunities he had, and she was scared. She didn’t know how to tell him, then it was too late and she couldn’t bring herself to hurt him. Nobody was supposed to know. She knew if they were to get back together, she would tell him the whole story, but that wasn’t the situation they were in. If they never got back to being close like they were before he left, it would’ve been something she took to her grave. Keep the pain to herself, instead of sharing the pain. Now, it didn’t matter what she did, she had still hurt him. Even if her intention was to not hurt him, the way everything happened, she still did. When she caught up to Jordan, he called her Jezebel. Hearing him call her that, then seeing him turn to look at her with tears in his eyes, broke her heart. “I wanted to tell you Jordan… but I didn’t know how…” Whatever pieces of her heart were left, shattered as he turned and began to walk away. She didn’t even have the chance to explain what happened. There was nothing she could do.

For Jezebel, the week leading up to graduation, was a realization that she was more alone than ever. In merely a month, Dan and Jess would be leaving for London. Which meant Jezebel would be alone… Technically, she’d have her father, Justin Parker, working with him, finally getting a chance to know him, but he was still in many ways a stranger, and she’d have Laurel, if she even survived. Though, all the familiar faces, the ones she’s seen for years, would be gone, most to become like strangers over time. Who would she even continue to talk to? Valerie, they had become good friends and she was with Daniel. Candice, they had been close for a short time, and both could bond further over their kids. She Talking to Sadie would be only if the girl really wanted to. Jezebel just couldn’t be around her, knowing she was with Jordan, and Elodie… Elodie was with Riker, who Jezebel hated so much. Then there was Jordan… he still mattered so much to her, but she had lost him… even at graduation he avoided her.

When it came time for graduation and the after party, Jezebel didn’t want to be there. Since what happened with Jordan, she wanted to just go to bed, cry herself to sleep, and never leave her room again, similar to how she had been after her and Jordan had broken up two years earlier. The only reason she wasn’t, was because of Laurel. Laurel was less likely to make her cry than being on her own was at that point. She was something Jezebel could focus on, instead of the broken pieces of her heart. Laurel still being alive was the one piece of good she could hold onto. Though, when it was time for graduation, she had to be there, and even if she didn’t want to, she didn’t really have a choice in going to the party with everyone afterwards. Daniel drove them to the party, and they separated as they entered.

How poetic, to end the year where it began, truly coming full circle. Jezebel’s life in a way was coming full circle, repeating what her mother did. Just like her mother, she got pregnant during senior year, when she was in no way ready to have a child, and ending up alone as well. So much had happened over the course of the year. Last time she stepped foot in that building, she was confident and ready to win the game. The only thing stopping her back then was a simple task that she couldn’t get over her fear of driving to complete. She was determined to win, to make her mother proud, that if she did win she would be worthy of actually having her dad know who she was, that she wasn’t just Dan’s best friend. That first party, it was also the night she first started talking to Mikel, where she first kissed him. Back then, he was merely an opportunity, someone attractive, an interesting conversation that made the frustration of the night better and brought a smile to her face. So much had changed. Senior year had broken her down in so many ways. She was no longer the overconfident girl she was walking in to the school year. Now, she was a girl who was grateful for having family that cared about her, separate from a mother who was nothing but toxic for her, who wanted to be better to her daughter than her mother was to her, even with everything that had changed between her and Mikel. Now, she was a girl who had lost her confidence. She didn’t know what her future would hold, and she was doubting herself every step of the way. That’s when she saw someone who the sight of brought a slight frown to Jezebel’s face. Jezebel couldn’t help it, and it really wasn’t Sadie’s fault either, she didn’t deserve to be someone who unintentionally and unknowingly rubbed salt in the wound for Jezebel. She was jealous, and it just hurt, but at that point, what didn’t hurt her. Jezebel honestly would have turned and walked in the other direction, but at that point, Sadie had seen her, so she really couldn’t. “Hey Sadie… How are you feeling?” Jezebel asked, not knowing really what to say to her, but knowing she had been in the hospital as well even before her and Jess had been in the hospital, so it wouldn’t hurt to check on her.

The day of the wedding may have been meant to be a happy day originally, but most of the events surrounding it were nowhere near happy. Aline’s death hit him really hard as she was one of his favourite people at C high, and honestly the death of another person close to him just proved his point that he was cursed and every person he cares about ends up dying. His dad, his childhood best friend, Tala (she ded), Jess (that counts shush), Ziah will… and now Aline. what’s the point? was this some cruel joke? so can it please just… stop?

But the one thing about that day that still did manage to bring a smile to Andy’s lips, was his engagement to the girl he loved. Honestly, as the year started, even in his wildest dreams, Andy would have never pictured him where he was now. A graduate, soon to be a father, and engaged to one of, if not the best girl on this damn planet. and he was more than grateful for it all.

Graduation came and passed by, and Andy made his way to the after party along with the rest of his class. With a drink in hand, the boy stood at the party as he found a pair of arms wrapping around him “Hey high school graduate,”
“Hey yourself” He turned to face the nugget hugging him, “Who the hell let me graduate I swear” he shook his head jokingly, shrugging as she commented about wanting a drink “Soon” he told her

“Where’s my ring pop today McNugget? I think graduating deserves a ring to your ex wife.”
Andy laughed lightly at her question “Hold that thought” he told her and reached to the pocket of his jacket pulling out a blue ring pop “Beat you to it, school colour ring pop for the school grad and ex wife” he smirked and handed it to her

Elodie May DeLoughrey

This has been one eventful school year. Losing and making friends, someone dying and almost dying, all the drama, fighting… it was coming to an end. Just like the game they were playing. It was what Elodie was focusing on the most, besides school and her grades. She always took that seriously, there wasn’t one day when she missed school or a class, after all, she was supposed to go to London. The biggest decision she had to make - leaving her friends and family behind, Heidi, living alone. It would all be very new to her and she was, in a way, scared of that but she wouldn’t be completely alone there. At least not all the time.

That’s why she wanted to enjoy this day as much as she could, ignoring the list for a little bit. There was nothing to worry about, she was always on the very top of it, and that changing wasn’t likely. She was talking to a friend, a bright smile on her face, before she felt a light tap tap on her shoulder, making her turn around and face a guy she never really talked to. A smile she had faltered as she looked towards where he was pointing, her gaze landing on no one else but Kara. It has been… their friendship just wasn’t like it was before. God, she didn’t even know when was the last time she talked to Kara after she tried to reach out to Elodie. But she felt bad about that even if she wasn’t the one that did anything wrong. As much as she was hurt with what Kara did she didn’t want to fight with her, she didn’t want to leave without forgiving her.

“Brenen? Really? You could’ve found someone who is more friendly,” laughing lightly, with crossed arms she carefully approached the girl but kept her distance. “I like that,” trying to avoid the conversation that was bound to happen, Elodie lowered her gaze, compliment the girl and what she was wearing.

Zion Pestana

Graduation day was filled with mixed emotions for Zion. They were excited to start the next chapter of their life, but there were other circumstances putting a damper on that excitement. Their parents were still at their aunt’s, so Zion’s only family at the ceremony was their younger brother and his boyfriend, who made sure to take lots of pictures so that they’d be able to show their parents. Added to that was the fact that Aline hadn’t been there to graduate with them. Her death was tragic and both her and Luciano had been on their mind all day.

They walked up to the Rockefeller Residence for the after party, thinking back to the start of the school year. When they’d entered this building for the first time, they had no idea what a whirlwind their senior year would be. They knew that this party would probably the last time they saw most of their classmates. They went to the bar and got themself a drink. As they walked away from the bar, Brandon came up and spoke to them. “Hey Brandon!” They responded with a smile. “Graduation for me was…bittersweet, but overall pretty good.” They answered. “What about you?”

Ruby Danvers’s life had been filled with mistakes, but she couldn’t get herself out of this one. Flashes of the red orange glow of the fire, and screams filled her ears as she lay in the fetal position. She didn’t mean for it to happen, but it did. She couldn’t turn back time, and she knew it. A girl was dead, and it was all her fault. They said she’d get twenty years, but she knew that she deserved so much more. A strangled cry left her lips as she relived that day over and over, the scene blurring together like watercolor paint. The prison had put her in therapy, but she was too numb to speed. Ruby had shut down, the voices buzzing like tv static. Tears streamed down her face, and she fell into an uneasy sleep.

Valerie Wood. Besides hurting Jessica, Valerie was one of Anna’s other regret. Why? Many may wonder that very same question; after all, not many believed Anna had a heart. Could she blame them? Not really… she was the cause of her sister’s pain for a little less than a decade. Which also meant hurting a lot of Jessica’s friends… one of the worst being Valerie Wood. And part of the reason why it was the worst was… well… Anna actually started caring about Valerie. Love comes in various forms and for Anna… for a long time, it did come in a Valerie-sized package.

Anna followed the girl; allowing her eyes to trail down her back… which almost looked as good as her front. What? Anna was allowed to look, wasn’t she? And then they were; alone in a room for the first time in a long time… though this time it wasn’t 'Jessica and Valerie," rather, it was her; Anna Pierce.

“You wanted to talk, then talk”

A soft sigh left her lips at the hostility in Valerie’s voice… though she couldn’t blame her. Anna had lied to her, twisted her emotions… more than once… and then broke her. All to get back at her sister who apparently had done nothing to deserve it. Neither girl had deserved what Anna had done to them.

“Look… I get if you won’t ever be able to forgive me, Valerie. What I did was… frankly very bloody messed up,” Anna started as she walked father into the room. It seemed like it was a small theatre; recliners set up throughout the room. So while Valerie leaned against the wall; Anna sat on the edge of one of the chairs - facing the girl. “Two years ago you ran up to me in London thinking I was Jessica and I don’t know… I just… I saw a split second opportunity and I took it. I’ve… wanted to hurt Jessica for so long that I was blinded by the chance to do so that I wasn’t really… thinking of you as a person. I was thinking of you as a Trojan Horse,” Anna started, biting her lip. “And for a lot of the summer… that’s all I saw you as… As a means for an end. So if you ask me if it hurt me to hurt you… in the beginning… it didn’t… but that’s the issue Val… there’s something about you. You draw people in from the very start. Hell Dan saw that.” Anna continued with a sigh; walking closer to the girl. “So maybe at the beginning, I didn’t care about you… but little by little, I couldn’t stop thinking about you. It would be a lie to tell you I didn’t fall in love with you Valerie. And it would be a lie to say that it didn’t hurt me to send that note to you the day I left… but at that point in my life hurting Jess was all I cared about and I knew that you were still the way to do it,”

There was honestly in Anna’s features. She wasn’t lying to the girl; rather, everything that left her mouth was 100% the truth. “I know it doesn’t matter to you, but I wanted you to know the whole story before I told you… I’m sorry. I’m sorry about hurting you that day… and I’m sorry about doing it again a month ago. I couldn’t… help myself when I saw you at the lock-in. Like I said… there’s always something about you that draws people in. And If you can’t forgive me… that’s okay. I just… I wanted the chance to tell you that I’m trying to be better and that I’m sorry for hurting you.”

A soft smile met his lips when Ketziah spoke. Though she revealed she was exhausted; there was something in her voice. Something in the way she looked. Perhaps it was her pregnancy glow but Ketziah Drake looked happy. And Jordan couldn’t be more elated for her. Despite anything they had been through together, Ketziah was one of his closest friends and she would always be… until the day she died - a thought that still saddened Jordan; though he was trying to be in the present.

“Excuse you; I think I look better in this hat than you do,” Jordan joked; taking his hat off of his head to spin it slightly. “Okay fine. You look better. But can we at least pretend I’m pulling it off for my ego? I already have Yara and Riker stealing it from me because they think they look better in it too,” Jordan continued… slightly ignoring the next part of the sentence. Or… at least holding off on answering it. The one thing about Jordan that would always remain true is the fact that no matter what, he was always honest. Even when it hurt him to be. Pointing towards the balcony Jordan’s smile faltered slightly. “Want to catch some fresh air?” Jordan asked; leading her towards the quiet view. The wind was still; though still refreshing as the two left the party to meet the silent night. “I’m… I don’t know,” Jordan sighed; leaning his head against the rail as he looked out into the view. “I mean… not even going into Aline’s death… which… god Ziah…” Jordan started. “Jezebel… well… .Riker told me something and Jezebel basically confirmed it and I just… don’t know how to feel about it.” Jordan continued before looking back at Ziah. “I don’t know if I should tell you all of it since it’s Jezebel’s… business but… long story short… I just… I can’t look at her the same and every time I do it just… hurts,”

The fact that Valerie did want to have that talk didn’t mean she was going to put a nice face for someone who managed to hurt her more than a lot of people in her life have, and she wasn’t going to just wipe that like nothing. There’s a difference between being hurt by just anyone, to being hurt by someone you actually cared about. In that second option, it hurt hell of a lot more. And for quite a long time, Valerie did care about the girl walking around the room in attempts of explaining her sh!tty behaviour. She cared a lot, even too much…

The way Anna admitted to using Valerie as a tool to hurt Jessica, a means to an end, like she was a bloody toy, well… It hurt. And frankly it made it a whole lot harder to believe it when she told her she did in fact start caring at some point, and even fell in love with her. It was hard to believe, it made no sense to her how you use and hurt someone you love just so you can achieve your questionable vengeful goals. That’s not what care is. Hell, this isn’t how love works.

But as Valerie watched her and listened, she could sense the honesty in her words, the same painful honesty she felt from her back in the lock in. “God Valerie… I didn’t think I’d ever see you again and it just… hurt too much to say goodbye. Do you get that; how much that hurt for me?” She remembered it, and frankly, now that she knew the whole story, it hit so damn different.

Valerie looked away slightly biting her lip with a barely noticeable sigh as the girl apologised for her past behaviour, could she really forgive her just like that? This wasn’t another Delilah, because frankly she had no legit acceptable reason for her ongoing resentment against the girl, but it was just there. Anna on the other hand… well, she actually acted to deserve it. But at the same time she seemed to have changed in a way, and Jessica seemed to forgive her but that wasn’t really surprising at all, though… Valerie just didn’t know.

“I want to forgive you, I really do…” she admitted, which was honestly true. As being with Daniel, as well as growing closer with Jess, Anna was going to stay a part of her life whether she liked it or not. “But it’s not that easy. I appreciate your apology and I really wish I could just put it all aside like nothing ever happened, but I can’t do that. You really bloody hurt me Anna, It’s not just the idea of being played with and ditched time after time, it was worse than that, because at the end of the day I found myself catching feelings for a person that never existed. It wasn’t really you, and it wasn’t Jessica either. That just hurts like a b!tch” she admitted, letting her know what she felt and just why she couldn’t put it all behind them "I just need time I suppose… "

Brenen shrugged his shoulders and looked back at Kara. “I mean, you’re not wrong. I’m not surprised that she ruined another friendsh-” Then he paused. “Uhhh…don’t tell her i said that.”

As soon as Kara saw that Elodie was coming to talk to her, she immediately froze up.
“I like that.” Elodie said while gesturing towards her outfit.
“Thanks. I made sure to pick something that I haven’t worn yet. You look great as usual.” She started looking down at her shoes. She knew this was a conversation she wanted to have but wanted to avoid the awkward parts of it, which is nearly impossible to do.
"clears throat, Okay, I’m not going to beat around the bush. I know why you were…are mad. If it helps anything I got into a fight with my friend that told you everything… and someone recorded it and posted it on the internet and…I lost very bad.** She held up one of her elbows which had intense bruising on it. Yes, Kara was ranting, trying to avoid saying sorry. Something that she rarely ever said.

Daniel Parker only had a handful of friends. That was clearly obvious by the dwindling number of people who would stand by his side. Though Daniel did take pride in the fact that his numbers were higher than good ol’ Dorian DeLoughry. After all; there was nothing sadder than not even being liked by the people who you thought were your friends. Daniel, however, knew exactly who his friends were. And those were people Dan would do anything for. Anything like walking into a burning building and risk his own life for. Though again; that number was small, though despite that fact; both Theodore and Mareena did find their way onto that list. Since Middle school; there was a protectiveness Dan held over Mare when they became friends. And perhaps that friendship bloomed because, unlike many others, Mareena knew that being liked by everyone didn’t matter. Rather; the girl was a unique mix - one that included a trait he value and respected; the ability to not give a sh*t what people thought about her.

Dan cared about Mareena like a little sister; since the very moment, he hacked her out of trouble because one of the idiotic soccer boys hit on her and the middle school dean was slightly sexist and believed men could do no wrong. Yeah… let’s just say Dean handsy was serving more than a few years at a state prison after that incident when Dan looked into the man’s past and found more than one incidence of inappropriate grabbing of students. Suffice to say; Dan cared about Mareena and hearing that yet another person he cared about was stuck in the horrible fate of pregnancy out of high school, a sigh left his lips. He took the martini he had motioned to hand her and drowned it; putting it on the bar before moving towards his own scotch. Daniel knew the statistics; he wasn’t an idiot. Most individuals who got pregnant in high school ended up being stay-at-home moms or Instagram socialites… both things that were far below Jezebel and Mareena’s standards. Ziah, on the other hand, he didn’t give a sh!t about. In his mind; doing something brainless as both ZIah and ANdy were doing - in other words, both being singers and having a kid at the age of what? 18 - seemed right in their skill set. After all; neither was smart enough to accomplish anything other than that. Hell; Ziah probably wouldn’t have even made it past singing in her bedroom if Dan hadn’t felt pity for her and boosted her videos so everyone in the world saw it again, and again, and again until people couldn’t get enough of her. The success rate of singers - trust Dan - was not high and he had low hopes for the girl if he hadn’t at least worked some magic. Something he had done for a small Justin Beiber when he was younger out of boredom. It was a challenge; could he make someone famous just because he wanted to? Answer; yes. No talent required. Just Daniel and a computer. Perhaps Dan had done the same for Jordan… but that was for him to know. Though the man had made it as a dancer on his own terms.

“Well you aren’t wrong… I just wish it wasn’t a rumor. I wanted to tell everyone on my own terms,”

A sigh left his mouth. “I can snub the rumor if you’d like; but I can’t stop people from word of mouth. It’s the one thing I can’t hack,” Dan sighed. Sooner or later people would find out; though he did want to give Mareena the possibility of a choice. What could he say? Sometimes he could be nice. A soft laugh left his lips when the girl told him to not ask how it happened. “Mareena; please don’t tell me you need me to explain how babies are born now?” he questioned; though with an exaggerated sigh, he continued. “You see when two people are in love… or are simply very h0rny and a man takes his…” Though seeing a smile on her lips he stopped. He did love making her smile… or anyone for that matter. There was a distinct satisfaction in it. Though his smile only grew bigger when she called him an uncle. “Does that mean if it’s a girl, she’ll be named Danielle, and if it’s a boy, Daniel?” Dan questioned jokingly. “Kidding… but I do appreciate the sentiment Mare. I’ll be the best damn uncle that kid has ever had; helping him or her get out of prison and whatnot,” Dan explained. “But really, Mare, how are you feeling? 18? Baby? It sounds stressful… and that’s coming from me. Didn’t you have college plans set up? I remember you being so excited to get out of here,” Dan sighed. “Either way; if you need anything, I’m here,” Dan added with a soft smile, “That goes for you too buddy,” Dan added, poking her belly with a soft smile.

Jess closed her eyes as her arms held the man tightly; ignoring any pain she felt. The pain didn’t matter; what mattered was how much she was going to bloody miss him. It was odd; in London - being away from Andy was easy. The two met up and easily fell into place of their ongoing friendship. It was as if the other was never gone in the first place. It was something she relished over the years; a friendship that she truly thought, at one point in her life, would last forever. Perhaps Jessica wasn’t so sure of that now. Perhaps it would last and she was just doubting herself. It wasn’t the first time. But despite all of it; Jess hugged him; allowing her mind to take a mental image of this moment. A moment where the two of them were still… them. A moment where they were still at the same point in their lives; frozen in time as Jess took the moment in. The girl only knew one thing… if it was the last time - she would fcking miss the hell out of him. Andy McAllister. Screw it. Andy McNugget. Forever her person when she needed him.

Pulling away; Jessica smiled as he faced her - a soft smile meeting her lips at his joke. “I’m really glad the dean accepts bribes… it took a hell of a lot for me to convince him to let you walk that stage with us,” Jessica joked; though her smile turned into an eye roll when the man revealed soon for the drink. “Is that a promise then? How about this; first drink I can have when I get off this medication; you have it with me?” Jess asked.

In asking about the ring pop; Jess wasn’t honestly expecting him to have one on his person so when he pulled one out, laughter escaped her lips. She couldn’t help it. “You know Andy; I love you,” Jess let out, grabbing the wrapper and pulling it open to the hard crystal blue candy before placing it on her ring finger. “How does it look love, I know it’s not as fancy as Ziah’s but you know, I think it suits me.” See this. This right here was exactly what Jess would miss leaving him. Being so close to him for these last few months… in both proximity and friendship was going to make it hard to be away. But that’s life; it moves on whether you like it or not. Andy was going to be a dad. A husband. And Jess; she was going to be in college and for the first time… just be herself. Doing something she loves for the next year… and no, she didn’t mean just Dorian. She meant journalism - something she was truly excited for.

“Hey…” Jess whispered after a few minutes; looking up at him with a serious expression as she placed her hand on his cheek. “I didn’t say this before but 1. I’m really proud of you Andy… and god I’m so happy for you,” she grinned. “…and 2. I think I have a right to say this since I went to the afterlife and back. But Andy McAllister. Your dad would be so proud of you right now. Trust me… he told me when I visited,” Jess stated with no hesitancy in her voice.

Flashback:

“Come on now, Jessica, keep up.”

Anna couldn’t help the smile on her lips as she followed the girl through the bustle of the carnival. God Carnivals…usually, Anna would hate them. What was there to like after all? Rides that looked like they were about to break before you even stepped onto them? Maybe the greasy food? Disgusting. Or even, dare she say, the idiotic games all rigged for everyone to lose?

But there was something about this… something about being with Valerie Wood that made it… tolerable. Maybe… just maybe more than tolerable. Anna followed; smiling as the girl pulled her into a photo booth. “Alright, crazy faces,” Anna heard Val scream; and before Anna could react - the girl had already placed the money into the box and started doing something outrageous while Anna remained… slightly stiff. She heard a laugh from the girl beside her followed by a what the hell was that?. “Well, you bloody caught me off guard,” Anna smiled, mimicking something Jess would say. Though… the more she was with the girl… the more it felt like something she herself would say. “Fine; let’s do it again,” Anna muttered, placing her own coins into it and this time truly getting into the do something crazy; though she couldn’t help herself at the end as her lips met Valerie’s for the last photo… and perhaps… it took quite a bit longer than a normal photo should have for the two to emerge.

End of Flashback:

Here sitting before her was the same girl she had always been. Maybe a little more broken… a little more hurt. Anna could see that in her eyes. But she was the same. But she was right… the person who wasn’t the same was… Anna. Valerie was right… because at the end of the day, the person Valerie fell in love with wasn’t a real person. It was a persona. Val had never known the true Anna… not until the end when she was being her real self…like at the amusement park. A place where Anna had truly started falling for the girl and slipping in her disguise. Her eyes shut for a moment, relishing in the memory of the past before fluttering open at her last words. “I get it,” Anna whispered after a few moments. “But even though you didn’t know the real me…in a way… I did get to know the real you Val. And I don’t ever want you to think you’re not good enough because you always were… I just wasn’t,” Anna sighed. “And that’s all I can say. I get you not forgiving me… I get you needing time. The good thing is that we have it,” Anna continued; standing up. “But for now… I am sorry. And I do hope that anyone who ends up with you realizes how good they have it… because I figured that out too late and then I lost it,” with that; Anna shot Val one last smile before walking back towards the door.

“In any case, Valerie, there is a whole party waiting for you. Go spend it with people more deserving of your time,” Anna smiled; truly meaning the words before opening the door and disappearing into the oblivion of people. There was a weight off her shoulders. As sad as she felt at what had happened; she was glad she at least got to apologize. Though it was… a strange feeling. Just like it had been with Jessica. Going towards the bar; Anna looked at the bartender. She had never done this before but… god she needed to do something. “I’m sorry… do you have anything… I don’t know… cheesy or of the food variety?” Anna asked; though she heard someone beside her state “I’ll take one of those two thanks,” at her comment causing her to look over at the raven-haired girl. She looked familiar though Anna couldn’t place her finger on it. “Guess I’m not the only one starving after that long-winded graduation then?” Anna asked the girl with a soft smile.

As the girl hugged him, Andy’s mind went on thinking, about the past, the unknown future… and honestly , he was kind of scared of what could be about to come. Andy had never been one to be afraid of the upcoming unknown, but this… this was a whole new territory he knew nothing about, pretty much everything was in the dark. Was he going to be a good father? A good husband? How long did he even have to be a husband? what about his career? What about his friends?

But frankly, Andy wasn’t as scared of losing Jessica as he was before. The two have been through so much together and overcame everything with a Mcnugget sharebox for each one in their hand while doing everything. They’ve overcomed distance, fights, divorce… dammit, even death. And even through all this, they still managed to be there with and for each other with a celebratory ring pop for every occasion. At this point, Jess wasn’t just his best friend anymore, this is some ride of die thing going on here. It wasn’t a friendship, it was family.

She then suggested a deal, first drink she can have they’re having together ”Is that even a question?” he raised his brow ”I’ll scrap your wasted ass off the floor if I need to” he laughed

“You know Andy; I love you,”
”Right back at you awesome ex wife” he smirked, and honestly, it made him feel good.
”Not as fancy, but I can guarantee this ring tastes better than ziah’s” he joked, tho it wasn’t actually wrong, don’t try to eat jewellery at home kids.

“Hey…!I didn’t say this before but 1. I’m really proud of you Andy… and god I’m so happy for you, …and 2. I think I have a right to say this since I went to the afterlife and back. But Andy McAllister. Your dad would be so proud of you right now. Trust me… he told me when I visited,”

Andy looked at her as she told him how proud and happy she was for him, and her words brought a light smile to his face. ”My dad…?” he asked, partially confused. Could she really have talked to his dad? Did Andy even believe in the afterlife? What if we all die and just stop existing, and talking to his dad was just a hallucination or a dream she had. But… it was still him, even if it was a dream. ”I- thanks nugget” he told her with a soft smile

Ketziah smiled, laughing at Jordan’s joking about the hat. “It doesn’t matter to them if you look great in the hat or not, I’m sure they won’t stop stealing it any time soon. Your ego doesn’t have to take the hit with me.” However, the lightheartedness soon lessened after Jordan suggested stepping out for some fresh air. The two stepped out onto the balcony with a peaceful contrast of the night’s calm in comparison to the busy nature of the party just inside, and the mood quickly took a turn. Ketziah didn’t even wait for Jordan to finish speaking before taking the few steps to close the distance, and hugging him tightly. No matter what they had ever been and dealt with together, Jordan would be one of her best friends for the rest of her life. She understood Aline’s death taking a toll, but then Jordan went on about something having happened with Jezebel. Ketziah didn’t know Jezebel well at all. Most of what she knew of Jezebel, was what she had heard about from Jordan, and from the times she had crossed paths with the girl, she didn’t seem all that different from what Jordan had said. Though, over the past week, she had seen Jezebel a couple times in passing, and the girl seemed to have a deeper sadness to her, like she lost sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. Ketziah just didn’t have enough of a relationship with her to ask for any details. “Basically confirmed, or confirmed?” Ketziah asked, pointing out that there was a difference. “What happened? You’re not okay, and she doesn’t seem okay either. I’m here, and you can tell me whatever can help.”

The pair spoke while both looking at the crowd instead of each other as they began a conversation. Delilah gave a smile when he repeated her words from the wedding. “Why does it need to be that I specifically want something?” She asked him raising her eyebrows as both their eyes switched back to each other. Perhaps in the past, especially with someone like Dorian DeLoughrey, conversations would be strategic, all with ulterior motives and everyone around her being solely competition to her. But maybe, at least this time, Delilah really had no reasoning behind this approach, which begged the question as to why she would want to talk to him with no reason.

When her answer about seemingly having no secondary reasoning for speaking to him didn’t appear too convincing, Delilah cleared her throat and continued. “I think there’s just something about almost dying in a fire that makes one less concerned about their dignity being impacted by approaching the person they told to leave multiple times at the wedding…” She explained, her voice louder in an attempt to not let the blasting music overpower. “… And appearing as a- very intelligent- person would call… a boomerang.”

Technically, Anna did have a point in what she said.
She may not know the actual her just as much, but time… well, they practically had all the time in the world to change that. It may take time for Valerie to forgive her for real, but it was just too complicated. She needed the time to figure to move on from the pain so she could properly have the girl as a part of her life without it being so complicated, because honestly, as much as her walls usually just went straight up in all power when someone hurt her like that, they didn’t with Anna. They did, but they also didn’t. She was hurt, but as much as she was mad, in her heart in a way she’d always have a soft spot for her, not Jessica this time, but Anna. It was complicated, because who was even Anna? What did she even know about her? Who was she? Her passions, dreams… she didn’t know all that, but a heart says what a heart says, and although she had no romantic feelings for her whatsoever, she did have a soft spot. Go on and judge now would ya

“I did get to know the real you Val. And I don’t ever want you to think you’re not good enough because you always were… I just wasn’t,”
The words stuck in her head as Valerie looked at the girl who had gotten up and headed towards the door, apologising once again and saying goodbye as opening the door. Valerie stayed quiet for most of the time, just listening and thinking as she did, but as the girl went to the door, Valerie turned and looked at her as she stepped out ”Hey” she called her stopping her from walking out ”Thanks” she said with a soft smile, watching the girl walk away, leaving the room herself a few moments later after taking a moment to breath.

Graduation ha? Who would have thought that the end of high school would come so fast? 19 years have gone by so fast and with no heads up Celine found herself walking in a cap and gown and getting a diploma, thrown straight out into the real adult world.

And frankly, as much as she wanted to just jump out there and conquer the world, a part of her would still miss highschool, as crazy as it was, it was fun while it lasted. It was a period of time in her life full of memories, friends, adventures… though it wasn’t like the adventure came to an end, on the contrary, it was just a turn in the road, a point to stop and thing as standing at the entrance gate to her adult life. Who was she going to be? what was she going to be? Where? What kind of life does she want and who does she want in them? So many questions, and only one girl to figure them out.

But while we’re at it, why not celebrate when there’s a party? We do love a good one.
Standing at the bar of the Rockefeller thingy place in her silky red dress, Celine caught the attention of the bartender and ordered a second drink, when a mention of some good cheesy food caught her attention and had her second that order for herself as well. “I’ll take one of those too thanks,”I she said and turned to look at the familiar figure at the other side of the bar, in her maroon coloured dress that hugged her figure in all the right places, along with a jacket matched with the dress.

“Guess I’m not the only one starving after that long-winded graduation then?”
”Well, I’ll be damned, Anna Pierce in the flesh.” she said as a light French accent slipped a bit as she spoke, in slight surprise as noticing who it was ”Honestly, never thought I’d see you around here” she admitted and sipped the drink in her hand. To be fair, she really didn’t expect to see her, she was used to having Jessica around but that wasn’t really enough wasn’t it? For all she could tell, those two weren’t exactly best of friends. ”You look good” she then told her as looking over at her with a soft smile. She hadn’t seen her in quite a while, and she did in fact look good, different good.

"I’ll scrap your wasted ass off the floor if you need to,

Jess touched her nose; indicating, much like the game of charades, that he was right on target. “I wouldn’t expect less from you, love,” Jess laughed. It was hard not to feel so light hearted around Andy. He would… forever be one of the people who could make her smile even when everything else seemed lost. She didn’t know what it was about Andy; he simply naturally made her happy. And Jessica was sure she wasn’t the only one. He had this essance about him; a loveability that anyone could find once they got past the inital tallness and tattoos. Not everything could be deduced by the cover; and Andy was one of those things. She couldn’t help the smile on her lips with his next statement of her ring tasting better than Ziah’s. “You know… I think you might be right about that… though you mingt want to take a taste just to make sure, McFather…” Jess started though soon continued with “I think… Ziah has probably, officially, has tasted the only McAndy I never tried,” Jess joked with a wink, nudging him slightly. In retrospect; it was true. Though truly she had only said that to make him laugh.

She could see the surprise on Andy’s face with her next statement, however. Could she blame him? His father had always been a touchy topic but Jessica knew how much he loved his father. And despite not really… knowing or remembering what happened when she died… that whole day… was still fuzzy… she did know that this was something her friend needed to hear. And it’s something she was sure of. If Andy’s father was here; he would be the happiest man in the world seeing Andy walk down that stage and get hisi diploma. Hell… Jessica was. “Always Mc,” Jess responded to his nugget statement.

“Anyways… it’s been a whole week and no one has asked me to be a best man yet and I have to say Andy… I’m a little upset,” Jess smirked. “Okay look, I get it, I’m injured. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN…” she yelled (yes yelled. As if Jess cared about people listening in on her conversation). “…That I can not throw a bloody amazing party,” Jess finished. "But fine. I think I at least deserve to know who took my place. Is it one of your bandmates? Is it Oliver? I swear it better not be Oliver. Your guitarist can’t even get through a concert without breaking a guitar string.

“I know… it’s such a shame. I think the world deserves to see me in this hat more often,” Jordan laughed; taking the hat off and holding it in his hands as he leaned against the rail. Jordan loved being around Z; honestly, she was the type of person who could immediately calm him down with only her presence… even before he knew she was… dying. Maybe there was a part of Jordan that wanted to spend all the time he could with her. Perhaps that’s what love is… wanting to be with someone despite any hardships that may surpass. Though sadly… Jordan couldn’t do that with Jezebel… not this time.

As Ziah wrapped her arms around him; Jordan let out a breath he didn’t even know he was holding. His arms wrapped around her immediately and a sigh left his lips. And for a while… a long time… Jordan closed his eyes and just stayed like that.

“Basically confirmed, or confirmed?”

“I don’t… I don’t know Ziah… All I know is Riker told me something and Jezebel started apologizing for it - I think that explains everything I need to know… I just… it hurts so much Z…” Jordan muttered, exasperated by everything in his life. Jordan hesitated slightly… not knowing if or even how he should say it. All he knew was that it hurt… so damn much. Though in the end; he knew if there was one person he could trust - it was Ziah. So after a few moments; he started talking. “…she got an abortion two years ago after I left and… she didn’t… I would have respected any decision she wanted to make Ziah… I just… I expected her to say something to me… anything,” he sighed - looking away from her and back at the view, attempting to focus on something in the distance to the heartache wouldn’t take over his whole body once again.

“Definitely. It’s a crime against the world for them to keep that hat from you.” Ketziah said with a joking smile. With her and Jordan, it was easy to just relax, keep a sense of calm. Ketziah knew she could always count on Jordan, like he could always count on her. There would always be that connection between them of knowing they could each go to the other, and be there for each other, at least while she was still alive. It didn’t matter what it was, Ketziah knew she would be there for him if he needed her. Ketziah just held him close, hoping to be of some comfort as he began to say what happened. It was surprising to hear that not only had she gotten pregnant when Jordan left, but that she had gotten an abortion. Ketziah knew what Jordan was like, and how important that would have been to him, so she knew how much that would have hurt him. “I’m so sorry that happened Jordan… but are you going to give her the chance to tell you why she did what she did? Because if she ever knew you anything like I do, she must’ve had a reason not to tell you…”

“I’ll go do a taste test and let you know, but odds are in your favour” he told her, regarding both rings. Andy laughed at her comment on the McAndy, though it technically wasn’t wrong. “The OG McAndy, what a fake fan” he shook his head with a joking sigh, “Dishonor on you, dishonor on your cow” did I just quote Mushu? yes, yes I did. And this my friends, is dishonor. (jk it isn’t)

“Hey hey I haven’t got to that yet, out of my bandmates though why’d you pick Oliver dude, guy can’t throw parties if his life dependedon it, that’s my job.” he pfffted as she questioned whether Oliver was his best man, when in fact he wanted to ask her he just hasn’t gotten to that just yet. “I can’t just ask you to be my best man I don’t have any nuggets in my hand that’s basic rules of nature” he told her with a smirk and sipped his drink “But I will, act surprised”
