“I’m sorry about this,”
Dan rolled his eyes at the comment that was pointed at him. It was almost strange being stuck in a room with Andy McAllister and Dorian DeLoughrey. Discounting the fact that he hadn’t seen either of the two in years besides idiotic magazines for rockstar weekly or sports magazine - on that note could we have a discussion? Why in the BLOODY hell was Dorian DeLoughry on the cover or a magazine with the words “Top 10 Hottest Athletes in the World”. And Dorian Actually was number 1? Number 1? Him? Blonde boy that looked like he took steroids as a child. Mr. Forever Assh0le Smile tattooed on his face? How? Sorry, off-topic. But it was something that simply needed to be questioned. Even if the questioning was happening in Dan’s mind. In any case, the issue that remained was Dan was stuck in this room with two people he hated more than anything in the world. But ironically, there was a time that they were all friends. There was a time that Andy was Dan’s best friend. And there was even a time that Dan liked being in the DeLoughrey’s presence. Oh, how times had changed. How the moment Dan saw the look in Andy’s face as he was thrown out of his house changed the course of their relationship. How Dan intensely begins to hate Dorian DeLoughry due to one reason. The fact that the man dare spread rumors about his cousin when she left. Granted, Jess left out of nowhere. But the rancid comments that the Soccer team had spread about her were disgusting. Daniel had seen the true colors of both the men who sat in front of him. So maybe Daniel Parker was rude. Maybe he was crude to the extent of harm. But there was always a reason.
“Trust me, Dorian. No one wants to see your steroid deformed body,” Dan stated casually; staring at hi phone for a second and sighing as what remained was the endless “loading” sign. One that never seemed to stop. So what if Daniel added gasoline to the fire. It had been 10 years, it’s not like Dorian could do anything. “Aw, are you surprised?” Dan asked, faking a soft pout. “I warned you… various times, and then you bought a ring.” Dan stated, shaking his head. “Well, I honestly believed that your relationship would have naturally fizzed down. But I know Jess can be rash, and if you proposed she probably would have said yes.” Dan started, putting his glass cup to the side as he leaned forward. “So I did what any good family member would do. I used Jess’ weakness to push her away from you. You see. She cares, too damn much. So I made it about you. And all it took was a little nudge to your coach. Not much. Ironically, he already didn’t like you two together so that wasn’t a lie. But him calling Jess down to his office to tell her that you two needed to break up for your career… well… let’s just say that was my plan. And it worked like a bloody charm,” Dan stated with no remorse… well mostly no remorse. Perhaps Dan was saying these words with pure malice. But his mind did go back to one particular moment of walking into Jess’ apartment and finding her broken without repair… but that was something Dorian would never find out. That was something he could never let Jess find out.
The new thought filling his mind, Dan shut up - not saying anything else as he leaned back in his seat. “Come on Andy - don’t act like you didn’t agree with me. Dorian and Jess? Don’t act like you approved of that. Isn’t Jess your person or whatever you two call each other? But go ahead. I know you’re too much of a coward to speak your mind. So take Dorian’s side. After all, you two are family and we both know how much you like siding with family without knowing the whole story.”
With that, Dan leaned against the wall closing his eyes with a soft smile. “Oh, and should I even mention the second time Jess tried to ask you to wait for her in a letter. God. What a joke.”
@CerealKiller - I wanted to give Andy more to respond/react to
@astxrism - He do be mean okay
