Elodie May DeLoughrey
Short giggle escaped her lips the moment she saw his reaction to who her date was, right before she nodded, rather proudly. “Yes, yes.” She was quick to reply and confirm it, once again. “I will tell you and then you might be the only one that knows all about it,” with a cheeky smile she added, at this moment not really caring about what happened - what caused her to be here with Jordan. She was feeling excited about winning that nothing else mattered, looking like a loser and a desperate girl trying to find a date didn’t matter. No one knew about it, not even her good friend that was here with someone Elodie wanted to have as a date. It was behind her but not for long.
To his maybe Elodie simply shook her head, sad to see he didn’t share her opinion but she didn’t say anything. She didn’t say anything because that’s how she felt when he said Jordan was the lucky one. “That makes me so happy,” listening to him talking, she quietly said it more to herself but loud enough for him to hear. If there was something Elodie enjoyed more than anything it was romance. She would even consider herself to be a hopeless romantic, wanting the old school kind of love. So seeing her friend happy, just like she saw Mikel happy earlier only melted her heart. “Well, Mikel is throwing a party now so I better see you there,” she said in threatening way, slightly furrowing her brows but quickly put on another bright smile. "So we can tell each other our crazy stories, ok?” She quickly added as the song they were dancing to came to an end, genuinely hoping to see him there with Gio.
With that, she gently let go if him and took a step back, jokingly bowing. “And thank you. It was my pleasure dancing with you,” she added with a sweet smile on her lips but quickly stepped back towards him and pulled him into a tight hug. “I’ll go get Jordan now but I hope to see you later,” she said before walking away from him and heading towards the stage.
Parties weren’t really Elodie’s thing but there was only one prom that mattered and she didn’t want to waste any second of it. If everyone was going to the party there was no doubt she would be there too. Especially now when she was feeling beyond excited. "Jordan,” she whispered/yelled as she got on the stage rushing to sit next to him on the little piano stool. She didn’t even care if she was interrupting him, if he was even supposed to play more songs now, all she wanted to do is go there as soon as possible. “Let’s go, Mikel is throwing a party, please tell me you want to go,” she said, giving him puppy eyes.
