@Discussions @Announcements I could really use the help!
How to use reported speech maybe?
Here are the first ones I can come up with:
• when do I use commas?
• what’s the easiest way to tell if something is formal or informal language?
• what’s the best way to learn new words?
• are there any good books I can read to improve my English?
• what are the best tips for getting rid of my foreign accent when I talk in English?
• how do I write a well structured essay? (I always get 19/20 points and it makes me sad )
• what are the most common mistakes and how do I avoid them?
Hm maybe when to use colons vs semi colons
How do I write better essays
Literally the only questions I have about English class are about essays because that’s all we dooo
These are all awesome! Thank you all so far! I can definitely make worksheets on these! I might ask some of you to test a few of them
Keep them coming! No question is stupid!
What’s the easiest way to figure out how to pronounce a word? Is there some kind of rule?
Ooh! That’s a good one! I might do some research!
Oof I can’t remember any of the questons.
• Which one is better to use in academic writing - active or passive voice?
• Any tips on how to improve your vocabulary?
Can I tag @Utensils? They might have interesting questions to ask.
What’s the question?
Ask Shannii any questions related to English Language and English Literature.
You can actually use the utensils tag if you wanna notify the whole group on anything! It doesn’t need to be pm related or utensil cult related, so yeah you can use our tags :))
Is it better to write in first-person or third-person?
How do we stop ourselves from making stupid spelling mistakes over and over again? And can we use emojis in our essays
Should we use Google Dictionary or Thesaurus to find alternative words to make your essay/text more… nice? Sometimes they show words which mean completely different than the actual word and we use them without actually knowing the meanings which may make people go ‘wut?’ when they read our essay/text. And yes, I did this once or twice and got a bad grade smh.
here here here (I actually don’t remember any questions but-)
